Advantages: very small Disadvantages: need a pc to charge (unless you buy a USB charger)
...used with the new tiny Apple Ipod shuffle. As you might imagine, the docking station is also extremely small. The docking station has two purposes. The iPod can be placed into the station in order to be charged. The other end fits into a USB port on your PC. You also need to use the docking station if you want to upload new music onto your iPod. This works in the same manner. As soon as you plug the docking station into the PC the Apple software ... ...you could buy direct from Apple (either from the high street or online). However this is much more expensive - £19. Although this guarantees you get the real deal, i think it is worth going for the cheaper option as the difference in price is so great. Obviously its up to you though.
The docking station uses the same hole in the iPod as the the headphones, so it is not possible to listen to your iPod when it is charging or when you are downloading ...

Ipod shuffle docking usb station: This is for the tiny little sexy Ipod shuffle the USB cable with integrated Dock is a perfect little seat to pop your iPod for a quick charge or a change of tunes With its long cable you don’t have to keep reaching in behind your pc tower to plug it into the usb when you need to use it.
You will obviously need a pc to charge your iPod with this but there is also a Mains charge available (bought separately) Unfortunately ... ...which goes into the iPod is very easily broken, a slight knock to the connector and its damaged and you will need to buy a new one.
These are very pricey considering the price of the ipod which comes with a docking station is only around £50 I wouldn’t recommend buying the original Ipod shuffle docking station but shop around for a cheaper more sturdier alternative ...
