Although I was against it, yet my cousin brother, just 12 years, made a mess of my observations and went for it. In fact what he had to say was that I was to conservative about money and once I had a look at it and listen to it, my ideas will change and with it he will prove that my observations were wholly technical and not based on practical experience. Again, I repeat ... ...even if it’s the celebrated Apple iPod Touch 16 GB (2nd Generation).
I agree 200% that it’s the best available dedicated media player. Excellent looks, slick layout, great in fact unmatchable software options, even great audio quality, yet it has failed to impress me at an aspect which matters, at least to me, most. The frequency is very flat meaning thereby, it does not emphasize on any group of frequencies, add very little noise, cross talk is ...

...are a little lower. Additionally, Apple tend to make their brand exclusive, hence resulting in pricey 'commitements' (such as the 3.0 firmware update recently for £5.99/$9.99, acessories on istore quite $$) so if you are buying Apple technology, stay aware of all these little extra payments which may result in a lot of money spent. And most importantly, the iPod variety (for those who are not familiar with iPod players) depends only on synchronization ... ...happens to the library of your computer is done to the iPod. This is also inconvenient if you want to share music with friends, as the iPod does not have a 'plug in' ability like flash drives to copy music as it will synchronize with the iTunes library it is connected to. ...You would think that Apple wouldn't be able to surpass themselves. '''Think again!''' On the 23rd of October 2001 Apple brought out the first generation iPod Classic. 7 years late they bring out this. '''Quite possible the best product on the face of the planet.''' With its sleak design, amazing ... ...video quality this is sure to bring smiles all around. '''Sound Quality 9/10''' The sound on this thing is amazing, especially with the iPod headphones that come with it. This beats any of the previous iPod's, MP3/4 players on the market today by far. '''Display Quality 10/10''' Oh my gosh! Watching a film on this is so amazing. The screen is clear as clear can be. Not only is the screen clear but it is also amazingly bright. This is better than ...

This has to be one of the best I-pods I have ever bought, I was very happy with every aspect of it, (well almost). To be honest though, there has not been much changed from the first generation, so if you already own that, it's not really worth it.
==Look and Design==

The screen is pretty durable though. The front looks pretty cool too with a high-tech yet simple shiny black surround the screen.

The screen's display is bright, clear and has amazing contrast. The iPod also has a pretty slick feature that allows it to automatically adapt screen brightness to light level. One downside of this is that if it gets too bright or if sunlight shines directly on it the screen becomes very ...

Advantages: Amazing for Mp3/Mp4 functions and amazing for gamily . Range of features are brilliant ! ! ! Disadvantages: the speaker is a very poor addition to the 2g ipod touch, very tinny
Ipod touch is a revolution for MP3 players! The touch screen interface is very very user friendly, my 7 year old couzin can easily manage to navigate himself round the touch scereen interface with no problems. ...I would never buy an Apple iPod, but I went back on my own promise just a couple of weeks agio when I gave in to temptation, and boy am I glad I did.
The sleekness of the actual product is amazing, and it is well worth getting a case and screen protector for it as you wiill just want to keep it looking as great as the day you first get it out of the box.

Quick review of Apple iPod Touch 16 GB 2nd Generation
For all of you "got to have it" gadget freaks out there, the Apple iPod touch 16GB may just be the newest addition to your gadget collection. Apple offers a generation 2 version of the iPod Touch which gives you a better bang for your buck. If you love the look and feel of the iPhone, but don't really require the "phone" part of the iPhone and don't want to pay the pricey monthly fee to use all of the features, then the iPod Touch is the way to go.

My 15 year old has one of these as I refused to get him an Iphone, its great and does all that the Iphone does except make the phone calls. he loves it. He has also dropped it many times and its still in one piece, so its pretty durable too. I purchased it in the USA when the exchange rate was favourable so got it pretty cheap too, but having seen how much he loves it I would be ready to pay the UK price for another one if I needed to. ...

Advantages: Great sound quality, looks great, packed full of fantastic features Disadvantages: For the price, you would maybe hope for a screen protector... but these are cheap to buy elsewhere
Since I bought my iPod Touch in December, I have used it non-stop. Whilst I knew about Apple's reputation for innovation and style, nothing compares to the iPod Touch. In terms of looks, features and all-round usability, in my opinion there is nothing else on the market that even comes close. The iPod Touch is available in 3 'sizes' - 8gb, 16gb, and 32gb, holidng up to 1750 songs, 3500 songs and 7000 songs respectively. It weights just 115g, and ... ...and bright, measuring 3.5inches diagonally, with a 480x320 pixel resolution. At 163 pixels per inch, it ensures great quality images. It is the perfect size for viewing photos, playing games and browsing websites, without being bulky to carry around. The sleek feel and shape means it can fit in any pocket or handbag, and is so lightweight. Despite using it regularly, there have been no issues so far with reliability. Although some of my friends had ...

Advantages: Large touch screen, great for using internet unlike a lot of mobile devices, great sound. Disadvantages: Scratches easily, so small it can be hard to find if you're not careful.
I bought this over 8 months ago and I still use it constantly unlike a lot of gadgets I have purchased in the past (PSP, other mp3 players) and I think ive had my £200's worth already. The little things that stop it from been perfect still don't warrent a rating any less that 5/5. A perfect mp3 player for anyone. The 2nd generation touch is rather good! When it works... I've had my Ipod for 8 months now and i can say that it does no longer work. The Ipod itself i could not fault, the features of the Ipod where outstanding, easy to udgrade, plenty of room, good battery, nice size. But, the back of the ipod is sliver and it's nice shiny look doesn't last long. Not only this but, it is very easily broken. The screen is very prone to damage (a crack etc.) and ... ...this and water damage. I had the Ipod nano before the touch, which was very durable, but i am afraid that the ipod touch lacks these features. Advantages: High resolution, lots of free games available, very easy to use and has a wide range of features. Disadvantages: To play songs you must have itunes to convert your songs to ACC format.
In my opinion the iPod Touch is expensive, but has good value for money. It comes with many features, such as Google maps and an application to view the weather. Once you have connected it to your wireless router, (which takes about five seconds) you can download many games and useful applications, some free and some cost money. If you want something to just listen to music do not get the iPod Touch as it would be a waste of money. I have had my ...
