Advantages: small with a cool little clip Disadvantages: screenless - but do you need all those extras features?
Introduction:
Apple originally released the Ipod in 2001 and it was designed to be another mp3 player to rival all the others. It proved to be hugely successful and easily out witted all its opponents. It was designed to be small and sleek compared to all the then bulky music players you had to carry around.
Since the launch in 2001 Apple has sold millions of Ipods across the world and it is recognised as the ultimate in music players and is seen ... ...an Ipod for anything else.
Apple has also released a variety of different Ipods and products to meet the needs of such a wide and diverse customer base. The range includes:
Ipod Classic, the touch screen ipod Touch, the video-capable ipod Nano, the screenless ipod Shuffle and the iPhone. With there also being several older versions such as the Ipod mini.
In my family we have owned the majority of these different versions, and if we haven't personally ...

Advantages: small, sleek, stylish, has a built in clip, holds more than enough songs Disadvantages: When used as a secondary Ipod for the gym - None
...£55 for it from the Apple store. I even had a free engraving that I thought is a nice touch.
I have had a recent look on Amazon and found a brand new one in silver for £27.99 which is a massive saving on what I paid, but that was a couple of years ago now and time and technology has moved on. At £27.99 they are an absolute bargain.
****Accessories****
Compared to other iPod models, the range of accessories is very limited and includes the docking ... ...holder (why this is required I will never know since it has the clip which is used to attach the iPod to the user and this is perfectly strong enough).
There are many places that stock accessories and an internet search should have the products you’re after at the best prices. By best price I mean the overall package, including P&P costs, speed of delivery, after sales service and reputation of the retailer and not just the actual price of the shuffle ...

Advantages: inexpensive, tiny, easy to use Disadvantages: no screen, needs a 4 hour charge for full battery
...this little device. Even though Apple gave it the name 'shuffle' that is not all it does. You can slide the button to the right to play the music files how they appear in your iTunes library. This is very handy as the iPod does not have a screen so you can not pick and choose songs but if you play the music as it is on your iTunes you have a fair idea of what song may be coming next or what letter of the alphabet you are on in terms of song names ... ...anything I would suggest to Apple for next time?
Have a little screen that shows percentage of battery time left, which would be very useful.
Would I recommend this to consumers?
Definitely yes, if you want a portable music device that is easy to use, reliable, modern looking and inexpensive then this is the iPod for you.
I hope you have enjoyed my review of the iPod Shuffle 2GB

When the Ipod took the world by storm a few years ago, it was its amazing ability to hold so much music that did it; my own Ipod holds 30gb of music, but you can now get a whopping 180gb Ipod (mind-blowing stuff). With that in mind, it's an interesting concept that comes behind the Ipod Shuffle 1gb, because it only holds 1gb of music, which makes it no better than dozens of other MP3 players out there.
I bought this for my wife for her birthday, ... ...is great - all plastic and minimalistic chic design, in a box that makes you realise there's a lot of clever thinking behind the packaging of a product.
The Shuffle itself is small - about the size of a 50p piece, give or take a bit. In silver, it looks smart, and has a simple selection of buttons on the front, known for their universally recognised functions of play, pause, skip back, skip forward, and volume control. To use, the Shuffle is fairly ...

...by the hype about the Apple brand since its grand opening in central London's Regent Street in 2004. It suddenly went wild, people camping outside, traffic being diverted… and I was like ok!! However since then the Apple brand and particularly the Apple Ipod brand has blown up enormously. Creating amazing products for the everyday person at somewhat available prices.

So I thought for the extra £13 I may as well go for the one that holds the most songs. As it's only when you try and choose your favourite tracks that you realise ...
