Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery Life, Fingerprints, could be better

With the birthday money I got I wanted to spend it on something special, something that I would use a lot and wouldn’t just stick it in the cupboard at the end of the day. My younger sister’s birthday is 2 weeks after mine, and she wanted to buy an IPod, so I decided to give her mine for a little bit of money, and then buy this. She now is buying her own, new IPod so I’ve lost a little bit of money but I still brought this. Purchasing I purchased my IPod touch pretty quickly, I found a deal on Curry’s website which meant I had to pick up the IPod within a few hours, but it was worth it for the ... more

5 Stars The iPod Touch 8GB - iLike it, a lot! Review with images 16/08/2010
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Apps; the appearance of the iPod Touch is the best yet; very intuitive touch-screen

Disadvantages Disadvantages Mirrored backing; the fact you HAVE to use iTunes

Firstly, this is my first review in about a year, so I might be a bit rusty, but here goes! INTRO If you have read some of my other reviews, you might already be aware that I'm a big fan of Apple's iPods. Over the years I've had iPod Nanos', Classics', Shuffles'...but never an iPod Touch. My favourite iPod was an iPod Classic 80GB 5th Gen, and I was so sure that I would remain faithful to the click-wheel trademark of the older iPods', and would never convert myself to an iPod Touch. The main reason was this: I had had a bad experience with a touch operated mobile phone (BlackBerry Storm) ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages The scratches and finger prints

This review is for the Ipod Touch 3rd Generation 8 GB device. Setup The Ipod touch is a device which is not only a music player but also many more things. When you get the product you are usually given the device, earphones, USB Cable, Dock Adapter and a user manual. You will find out how to set up the device via the manual but if you want the quickest explanation then all you have to do is put the USB cable into the back of the device and then plug this into the computer. You need to download ITunes if you have not already and load this onto the device and this then will let you process your ... more

Advantages Advantages A large amount of features, really durable, great quality screen, great selection of applications

Disadvantages Disadvantages Occasional slow connectivity, iTunes required

The iPod Touch was really one of those things that I have wanted from the beginning, but have never really been sure about actually getting around to buying. I’m now very glad that I did. The iPod Touch is a device that has inspired many-a-gadget with its sleek applications; brilliant usability and massive amount of usages. Apple started the touch-screen craze, and I’m not surprised to see that they have pushed their product up yet another notch. Quality The quality of the device, both in the screen and the build, is excellent. I’d be hard pressed to say that the screen can be easily damaged ... more

8GB iPod Touch As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it! From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages no 3G connection, small screen size causes some problems

I have wanted to buy myself a good MP3 player for a while but with so much choice on the market it was difficult to decide which one to buy. My family have owned several versions of the i-Pod nano over the years and we have always been happy with the performance. I was seduced by all of the additional features on the i-Pod touch, as well as being a music player you have video playback and many of the features of a PC in your pocket. I own the 3rd generation of i-Pod touch which was released in September 2009 and offers increased browsing speed and more features than previous models. The i-Pod ... more

Advantages Advantages entertaining, fun, everywhere, stylish, unique

    Disadvantages Disadvantages needs looking after!

I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, and when I answered with 'money', my proposal was turned down. I suppose in some ways asking for money can be a bit selfish. Parents don't get the thrill of seeing their children's' faces on Christmas morning as they rip into their presents, the parents anxious to see if they have bought the right thing. So I gave it some thought and still couldn't think of anything. Though around three weeks before Christmas, I went to switch on my old iPod Nano, only to find that it would not react. The battery must have finally seen its days. Then it hit me - I'll ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages battery runs down very quick and screen can be easily smashed

After four long months of being nagged at by my 6 year old daughter for an Iphone, I kind of relented and ended up buying her an Ipod Touch 4g instead due to positive comments I had heard from other people. I have had my Iphone 4 since the week they came out in 2010 and my daughter has been just as addicted as me - mainly with the games... as she has got older she wants to act more grown up and having a phone was one of those things... The great thing about iPod Touch's is they can be easily mistaken for a phone - they can practically do everything! ********** Spec * Black in colour * 8 gig ... more

For my 16th birthday I recieved an Ipod touch with 8GB capacity. I had been wanting it since they had been released. So when my parents presented me with this, I was completely in shock and couldn't wait to get all the newest music, apps and games onto this little bundle of fun.Appearance of the Ipod TouchWhen you recieve your Ipod it comes in a very small box which contains everything you would need, USB Cable, Head-phones, an Ipod Dock Adapter and a quick start guide, which is a tiny little square booklet (very cute!) There are two different colour choices which are white and black. The Ipod ... more

Long technical reviews deter me from reading so I want to simply TOUCH on the may features. I won’t go into the whole background of APPLE but just about everyone knows it’s one of the most highly valued, quality assured and sophisticated brands money can buy. I am actually more of a Samsung girl than an Apple girl. Even though an Apple Ipod classic but be ideal for me seeing as I am obsessed with music and constantly upgrade my Samung for more storage, they’ve never appealed to me. An 8gb will only hold about 1,700 songs. I don’t know why I purchased the Touch; in hindsight, for the £200 it ... more
