The iPod Mini

Advantages: Music at your fingertips.
Disadvantages: iPod WIPEING!

...is mass produced by the Apple organisation (Before I bought one I thought it was different and it done something special, how wrong was I?). They are compatible with Macintosh and Windows PCs ONLY. It has since been replaced by the iPod nano. It weighs 3.6 ounces (not overly heavy) and measures 91 by 51 by 13 mm for a perfect pocket fit. WARNING FOR STUDENTS - it will give you school shirt pocket hell. They are available in 4 colours: silver, pink, ...
...the hang of it. Apple supplies you with a lead to link the iPod to the computer so the songs can be uploaded. They also provide a software package called iTunes. iTunes allows you to gather the songs you want, attach information such as title or author to each then transfer it onto the iPod. There are 2 ways of putting songs on the iPod mini. You can either insert a CD into the computer and select songs from it or you can use music files on the ...

We had a great marriage, except for the divorce!

Advantages: Great little player, easy to organise playlists, nice games, great all around, until things start to go wrong
Disadvantages: (No longer sold) battery life, now seems 'basic' in comparison to others

...(slightly higher power than the Apple kind - promised 10 hours rather than 8) for around £10 plus postage. It was very easy to fit and the one I chose came with all the tools I needed. Once our relationship had this extra boost, we continued smoothly on our relationship path for a while. At the very beginning of the relationship, I'd had some trouble in figuring out how to master the controls. Telling me it was like a laptop mouse pad meant nothing, ...
...It seems everybody had white, Apple branded or not! Once I'd learned about the music side of the Ipod, I also began to discover other features it cleverly held. Such as games, the ability to synchronise contacts and calendar from my computer. It could also hold text files from my computer. Of these options, games where what I used most. It came with three games pre-programmed onto it, and I don't believe you can add any more - Brick, Music Quiz, ...

There's Bigger, There's Smaller, Both Are Better

Advantages: Pocket sized, easy to use, good sound quality through the earphones, good battery life on a full charge
Disadvantages: No colour screen, video playback or photo albums

First off, congratulations to Apple in creating the iPod franchise. The really have created something that is open to the masses, and I can say that about the iPod Mini. The iPod Mini is available in Silver, Lime Green, Pink and Blue. There is also a 6GB version available, which can hold more songs than the 4GB version. I found no problems whatsoever installing the programs onto my computer. The instructions in the Booklet are very clear and easy ...
...I know for a fact Apple are doing it on purpose so that you need to purchase a new battery. And guess where's the only place you can get a new battery? That's right folks, Apple themselves. So you've got to shell out for a new battery once your first one packs in. Great.... The sound quality from the earphones is good, but at louder volumes, one of my earphones makes a ticking sound. It's not very private either, at higher volumes, you will get ...

ipod reveiw

Advantages: easy to use, looks good
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, not very long lasting

...easily, when i contacted the apple help site, who gave me advice on what to do. As far as i can remember i didnt have any problems with my ipod for the first 7 months of so, though i did notice that the battery life was very bad, and only lasted about 2 hours when it had been fully charged. For the first 7 months i had only praises to say about my ipod, i actually became rather attatched to my ipod seeing as such a tiny thing could carry all my songs. ...
...get from it was the apple sign. A few days later i took it to the apple shop, and after a two hour wait, i was told there was nothign they could do, luckily i was still within my guarentee, so got another ipod. My second ipod survived for the same length of time as my other. Apart from the battery life getting worse and worse, the longer i had it, everything was going ok, until i took it on holiday. I was just travelling, when after about 40 minutes ...

Going.. Going.. Gone!

Advantages: Was once a benchmark of MP3 technology.
Disadvantages: Now old and an awful battery life.

...Shuffle mode. It's a shame Apple didn't iron out a lot of the problems people complain about when it comes to iPods, especially with Microsoft bringing their competitor for Apple out in the shape of 'Zune' in a matter of months. Little things like the backlight on the screen and the rating system for each indivisual song does make iPod a benchmark in portable music players, however since I purchased my iPod the iPod Mini has been discontinued and ...
...if it does snap in your pocket, but that's for another review. I've also heard wonders about iPod Videos, depends how much you want to trust them. I haven't used one myself but the video quality I've seen is good. Everything about the iPod has been thought through very carefully, from the charger to the packaging. It's just a shame there is flaws in the actual technology. If you have the extra money though and love to listen to music on the go then ...

Apple iPod Mini

Advantages: Small,lighweight,holds lots of songs
Disadvantages: Scratches quite easily

...~ Plays AAC, MP3, Apple Lossless, WAV and AIFF formats ~ High resolution backlight screen ~ Hold feature What you get for your money: ~ IPod Mini ~ Belt Clip ~ Earphones ~ USB 2.0 cable ~ iTunes for Mac and Windows ~ Instruction Booklet My Opinion I have the iPod mini 4 GB version in silver and I was bought it by my dad as a present. Other colours available are blue, green and pink. All colours are metallic and have a white click wheel. The mini ...
...with the click wheel though it takes some time getting used to. The menu is simple and it's really easy to navigate to your fave tunes. iTunes is also very easy to use but sometimes a bit of a pain as to put songs on your mini you have to load them into your library and then your iPod. I can't comment on setup as my dad set everything up for me. I don't think it was too hard. The battery life is very good and when fully charged this baby lasts a ...

an ipod for every body!!

Advantages: cheap, loads of accessories, small enough
Disadvantages: games are crap!

well.. ipods... i have owned a shuffle a nano, and a 20gb but have settled on the mini and here is why. to start as everybody wants the new Nano 20-40GBer's and movie ipods, you can pick one up dead cheap. i got mine with loads of accessories including itrip and dock for just under 65 knicker (off of ebay) it took a while keeping an eye but it paid off. the mini has four GB (some have 2) of memory which is advertised as 1000 songs, but is more like ...
...songs can sometimes be 13mins long it can be as little as 450 songs. but let's face it songs long or short it still boils down to over two and a half days of music and as you put it on there all to your taste if not to your mood... i for one don't think i will ever be able to get bored of so much music, and if i do it only takes 5 mins to change what is on there. the size of the mini is comparable to an average mobile so fits comfortably i most ...

I love my mini.

Advantages: Sexy little thing!
Disadvantages: Don't drop it!!!

...unfortunately you cant buy from Apple anymore. The mini has got plenty of space for my music- who can listen to over 1000 songs at once? Not only does it hold music but you can use it to transfer files aswell. It's got loads of extra handy functions and also games. The battery life is great but if you require more you can buy car chargers and ones to plug directly into mains (or even extra battery ad-ons). The i-tunes software used with ipods is ...
...you register the product with apple you can order new ones for free within the first year. Just be carefull with the volume as it can go very high! The one drawback is that it will scratch quite easily (aparently this was part of the design) so I would suggest buying some sort of cover for it! Overall I would say ipods are the way forward in mp3 players and I wouldn't buy anything but. If you can get your hands on a mini I would definately go for ...

Great fashion accessory...

Advantages: Small, lightweight
Disadvantages: poor sound, no mains charger

...this is very poor from Apple and almost on a par with the PS2 without a memory card argument. You spend £100+ pound on a product and then need to go buy more bits to allow you to get the best use of it - not happy! Another thing to be aware of: I and a few of my friends have found that the Ipod freezes every so often rendering the device useless. The only way to get round this is to allow the battery to drain and then recharge it. A reset button ...

Advantages: Great memory and durability
Disadvantages: battery life deteriorates and screen prone to imploding

Advantages: Small enough, not too fiddly, easy to use, attractive
Disadvantages: Battery life too short, WORST 180POUNDS SPENT EVER!

Apple i-Pod Mini 4GB

Advantages: strong, loads of memory, loads of accessories available, attractive
Disadvantages: black and white ( but it doen't really matter)

...it, in which case, the apple webstire will have anythng you need, or it is running out of battery. The advertisments say that the i-Pod mini has 18 hours of battery time, but actually, the first time I used it I had 18 hours, and now it is about 4 hours. This is a bit inpractical if you are on holiday, without your computer. I guess I could buy a charger, what is the point of spending more moeny on something I already have! There are loads of ...
...-dock -remote -belt clip -armband -stereo connection kit -car adaptor -covers/cases My i-Pod is the bright blue mini, and there are no scratches on it at all, and compared to my friends, which is all cracked and trashed, it looks much nicer. This is because until I got my cover, I kept it in a plastic bag, (what can I say, I am a perfectionist!) which I am glad about, because it looks how it looked when I bought it! When you open the i-Pod ...

ipod mini... good but bad... 8-)

Advantages: looks cool, good capacity, lots of features
Disadvantages: dodgey battery, many people have problems.

I've had my ipod mini for about a year and a half now and it still works pretty well. the battery life has decreased, but all my songs are still in there and play well through my headphones or speakers or car-stereo (using an fm broacaster.) The ipod mini has loads of great features even if the games are a bit boring. Solitaire is good though! my favourite features are: - shuffle & repeat - an alarm - sleep timer (my favourite!!!!) - games ...
...obviously loads more but you can read them elsewhere =p Personally I haven't had any serious problems with my ipod mini, but i know people who have had to send their's back because the battery just went beserk! Like in one case it had been on charge all night and then in the morning when it was unplugged and he tried to listen to a song it just immediately went off due to "low-battery". How ridiculous!! Although it was still useable as a "stereo" ...

Fantastic

Advantages: Attractive Appearance, 4G HARD DRIVE
Disadvantages: Screen is a bit dull, all other screens have colour

I own the pink 4G ipod mini, I really love it. Unlike the Ipod Nano it is thicker and more durable so if you drop it a few times you don't have to worry about it. 4G is more than enough space; it is very easy to use. I would recommend that you get a cover, to protect the casing. If you’re going to use the ipod daily then you will need to charge it daily. I tunes is the software that is provided and it is extremely easy to use, even if you have ...
