Advantages: Great stuff for calming spots and skin irritations Disadvantages: None
When Little Miss woke us with an outbreak of spots, which increased in number as the day progressed, we decided that it was indeed chicken pox. A quick visit to the doctor confirmed this, and we braced ourselves for the itching which would follow.
The doctor advised a combination of calamine cream, antihistemine medicine and calpol, so once we had procured all of these goodies, we were ready to tackle this ailment.
The cream did in fact prove ...

I was introduced to Aqueous Cream after a visit to the Doctor. Few years ago, when my daughter was few weeks old, I noticed dry skin patches on several parts of her body. I was not sure what it was. Since she was my first child and a baby I was very concerned about it. I made an appointment to see the local GP. I was told it was mild eczema. She was given Aqueous Cream. She is older now but she still has the mild eczema. Which is not bad as before. ...

However, with the Aqueous cream we noticed a difference straight away.
The skin softened up and began to become smooth and regular. The cracks dissappeared and now we have a perfect baby with perfect Skin. All of this happened less than a week after we started using it.
Some caution should be issued though. Not everyone can tollerate the Aqueous Cream. In fact, it may cause a reaction in some children and babies with sensitive ...

You can buy Aqueous over the counter and is much cheaper than a prescription, I paid £1.85 for a 500ml tub which goes a long long way. So all in all it is really inexpensive, and if used as a moisturiser under make-up is much cheaper than the leading brands. I would certainly recommend this cream to anybody and have done so in the past, with good feedback from those who have tried it. ...

Aqueous cream is one of many emollients available on the market.
Emollients hydrate, soothe and soften the skin and can be used for all dry skin and scaling skin problems. The effect is somewhat short-lived though and one needs to re-apply as necessary to maintain that effect.
The main ingredients are emulsifying ointment and phenoxyethanol base added to freshly boiled and cooled purified water.
Having come across aqueous cream in my line ...

Advantages: quick results, cheap, effective, gentle on all skins Disadvantages: has been known to make symptoms worst
I was first introduced to Aqueous Cream after my son was born 5 months ago. As he was a week overdue, his skin was fairly dry, a common problem in late babies so I've been informed.
My midwife recommended I invest in a tub of Aqueous Cream as she said this would help clear his skin. So I went straight out to our chemist and bought a large tub (500g) for £1.15.
At first I rubbed it into my baby's skin after his bath and almost immediately I ...

It is quite messy to apply and the smell is oily but other than that it does a great job.
He also use this in the bath instead of soap, as soap is too perfumed and fragranced for his skin.I would recommend this ...

I have used this product since I was a small child. Being alergic to anything perfumed or coloured as a small child was not a problem to me but as time goes buy I now realise how careful my poor Mum had to be.
This cream has been around for donkey's years. This in it's self is proof that the stuff works? Right?

So trundled down to Boots with babe in hand and searched the skin products down the various aisles but couldnt find it, I presumed it would be where the E45 cream and Oilatum were kept but to no avail. So asked at the pharmacy counter and on the shelves behind was the Aqueous Cream.
I went for Boot's own brand as it seemed the cheapest option at just over a £1 for a tube of 100g,

Aqueous cream adds water to the skin and relieves the symptoms of dry skin and chapped skin. It is £1 for a 100ml tub which is excellent value.
It is obviously like most creams it will either work for you or it will not. I find it relieves my skin though, as my skin is quite itchy and I have slight dry patches I just rub the cream into the affected areas when I need to, it adds a bit off mouisture to my skin, and because it is water based it seems ...
