Very impressive children's magazine.

"...I came across mention of AQUILA billed as "the magazine for children who enjoy a challenge". A bit of research shows this magazine was originally developed for "gifted and talented children". In fact I have found one private school boasting that they use this magazine for their gifted and talented programme - and I could easily see designing a monthly curriculum around this. Might even pull the kids away from the telly

"...like a pen pal, and Aquila passes on the letters from the kids who answer them. This section is even administrated by a reader! On track – Sports facts, info and tips. Each magazine tends to have a theme, with lots of the features picking up on it. For example, September’s issue featuring WWII as a theme had a 2 page editorial piece about it, puzzles on the Fun with Maths and Brain Feeders sections tying in to it, websites about ..."
