Advantages: Plenty, if you like peach... Disadvantages: Too sweet, and if you don't like peach, you're going to hate it!
...is the current phrasing.
Archers made quite a late foray into the world of Alco pops, being soundly beaten by Bacardi and their Breezers and only just getting in ahead of Bailey's, not a natural contender for an Alco pop style drink in my eyes. Even Gordon's, a brand which I never anticipated as having youth (or, rather, young adult) appeal, being my mother's tipple of choice, beat them to it. And, despite already having a fruit flavoured spirit ... ...problem could have been the Archers itself. Whereas Bacardi and Vodka lend themselves to a pairing with fruit juice, being not exactly full of taste, Archers has a naturally strong fruit flavour, being peach schnapps. Ensuring this didn't overpower any of the other fruit flavourings would be quite a task, especially as no new Alco pop could hit the market with just a single flavour, given the range of Bacardi Breezers and WKD already there. This, ...

The Bottle
----------------
Archers Aqua Peach is a 'Sparkling blend of Archers Schnapps with the crisp taste of Peach'. The alcohol content is 5%. It's produced and bottled for the Archers Scnapps Company in London. (address printed on the bottle) One 70cl bottle contains3.5 UK units and has the '18' in a triangle to show the age limit. The bottle is pictured below so I will not decribe it in detail, apart from the fact that the plastic ... ...fruity intense peach flavour of Archers Peach Schnapps, you will find that this has a more refreshing feel about it as though it's been mixed with sparkling spring water. There are no ingredients listed on the bottle or on the Archers website, so I can not confirm what the 'blend' actually is.
It is a more refreshing drink than Archers mixed with lemonade. On taking the first swig, you get 'hit' of peach at the back of the tongue and throat which ...

...last time that happened) but Archers Aqua Peach being my choice of drink.. I have at some time over the years drunk most brands of alcopop, bacardi breezers, WKD but usually return to the one that I prefer Archers Aqua. ~Why Archers?~

Introducing Cranberry, Raspberry, Lime and Orange Archers came later but I still prefer the Peach variant. ~What is it about this particular drink that I like?~

Advantages: Pre mixed, easy to drink and tastes good. Disadvantages: Too easy to drink! and you have to watch the kids with this one.
...My latest purchase is Archers Aqua Peach. I’d noticed this one before, but until recently I’d not actually bothered to try it…Silly me! The packaging is pretty standard as with most similar products, this comes in a 275ml bottle and can be brought singly or in packs of four. A single bottle is usually around £1.30, and a box of 4 can generally be picked up for around £4.40 – These are supermarket/off licence prices, if you are going to buy this in ... ...says: ‘A sparkling blend of archers schnapps with the crisp taste of peach.’ Its written in peachy coloured writing, and the overall look is reasonably stylish and smart.
The flavour of this drink is very similar to drinking an Archers and lemonade, but perhaps with a little less fizz and a little more of the taste of peaches. A smooth, silky peachy flavour which goes down very well. It’s a very drink to drink, and one which (as with most alcopops) ...

Advantages: Great taste and aroma, good quality liquor. Disadvantages: Cheaper alternatives
Archers Peach Schnapps is a 21% liquor with a strong peach flavour and aroma. The drink itself is clear in colour and presented in a standard clouded glass bottle, usually sold in 70cl and 1 litre bottles in all mainstream supermarkets and many smaller off licenses. While not popularly drunk on its own like many other liquors such as 'scotch on the rocks', this fruity liquor is best tasted with a mixture of both alcohol, mixers and juices. This makes ... ...most popular drink however is Archers and Lemonade which almost all bar would sell. With lemonade being such a cheap mixer it makes it a cheaper drink for a night out. Compared to drinks such as Vodka and Redbull, the Redbull is an expensive drink as it is, yet its being mixed with another expensive liquor. While it can be drank through winter and other seasons it is most popular in the summer because of its fruity appeal. So what other alternatives ...

Advantages: Tastes yummy, very little hint of alcohol Disadvantages: Takes a while to get you drunk as it is an alcopops??
...is "a sparkling blend of archers schnapps with the crisp taste of peach". I think this is a fair description of the taste actually. I find you can drink this for a long time before you will begin to taste any alcohol, when you start drinking this I never taste the archers in it, only the peach. To me (I'm not an alcoholic or anything!), this tastes like a really pleasant soft drink, that I could dirnk for much of the day or at dinner. The peach is ... ...got the blend between the Archers and peach balanced very well. I love this, its much nicer than any other alcopops around.
The Effect
Obviously drinking alcohol will eventually have and affect on the drinker! I find that I can have atleast 3 glasses of the stuff (or 2.5 mini bottles) before I notice mysef get a bit giggly, and I only really drink once a week. However, the only time I was ever sick after drinking was after drinking Archers (this ...

...think they taste very nice. Archers Aqua is a prime example.
I mean, okay, the very first molecule that hits your tongue tastes kind of pleasant. Many a time I’ve thought ‘Ooh, just like a soft drink. I could stay on these all night.’ And then, halfway down the bottle, I start to feel as though a horrific orgy of peachiness is going on in my mouth. I feel as though I will never taste anything other than peach for the rest of my life, and I weep ... ...it is (basically, weak Archers and lemonade), it’s sticky, it’s sickly, it’s probably bad for your teeth, it smells funny, and I’ll wager it’ll make you sick a long time before humble lager manages to launch an escape bid from your stomach. ...Bud, Rolling Rock, decent Wines, Archers Peach Schnapps and now Archers Aqua which is what this op is about.
I only came across this a couple of weeks ago while I was looking in my local Somerfield for something to drink at a Halloween party I was hosting at my place. While I scanned the shelves I saw all the usual suspects from my past but then came across something I hadn’t seen before. Archers Aqua Peach.
At the time it was only 99 pence a bottle ... ...personally like peach schnapps especially Archers I figured that I was onto a winner. Needless to say I grabbed a few bottles for myself as well as a case of beer to add to the, what I knew would be, a large array of other alcohol that my guests would be bringing.

Advantages: One of the nicest alcopops around Disadvantages: Also one of the most expensive!!!
I love all flavours of Archers Aqua, I always drink alcopops (in fact whilst writing this review, Im tucking into some Red Star Vodka Ice, Loganberry flavour - but its not a patch on Archers).
I think out of all the alcopops out there, the Archers Aqua is the nicest (comparable in quality only to Bacardi Breezer). My review is for Archers Aqua Peach, but as many of you may be aware there are many different flavours of Archers Aqua and also the original pure Archers, so I'm going to give you a bit of background on these as well. Firstly, Archers is pure peach schnapps, produced by G W Archer and Co and has an ABV of 23%. It is sold in 70cl bottles, priced at between £11 and £13, you can get it on offer occasionally, the cheapest I've seen it is £9.99 at our ... ...a small bottle anyway?!!
Archers Aqua is the alcopop version. It was launched on 15th May 2001 where we saw the flavours peach, cranberry, lime and orange. A year later a rasberry flavour was introduced, and recentely we've seeen the addition of flavours such as apple, 'exotic passion cocktail' and 'fruition'. Archers Aqua are 5% ABV and are made of Archers schnapps mixed with the respective flavour sparkling water. For a pack of 4 at a supermarket ...

...chance for one. However where archers is concerned I will atleast admit to having an addiction.
Being a girly girl I have always had a penchent for alcohol that doesn't taste of alcohol. Whisky and vodka have that kick that hits your throat and does nothing for me. My preference lies with the ultimate girly drinks like Baileys and Tia Maria. Thats why Aqua appeals to me, the peach taste is sweet but not overly so, its smooth and easy on the palate. ... ...sticking to it). When the Archers Aqua range first appeared I was somewhat dubious. The range includes other flavours such as cranberry, watermelon, orange and lime; all of which I have avoided like the plague for fear of further addiction. It is sold in 275ml bottles and priced at £1.28 per bottle or £4.68 for a pack of 4 (Asda) but is a tad more expensive when your out (anything form £1.50 to £3.00). ...Breezer and more recently Archers Aqua
Archers Aqua is a mix of Archers, Flavouring and sparkling water. Generally the drinks have a very subtle fruit flavouring and do not taste very alcoholic. Generally it is available in Cranberry, lime, peach and raspberry. Most pubs seem to stock a about 2 flavours. The alcohol content of 5.4% is pretty average for an alcopop. ...drink ever. Oh boy is Archers the greatest thing i've ever tasted.
Achers Aqua is the best drink invented. Its delicious, refreshing, fruity, comes in plenty of flavours, has a generous amount of alcohol without going over the top.

All the drinking side-effects are the pleasant ones, you get the confidence and giggliness without ever really feeling sick, although this might vary from person to person.
