Sit 'n' Splash

Advantages: Piece of mind for parents
Disadvantages: Suction cups becoe useless after a while

...I looked in Argos at the time of needing one though my sister had a spare one from her year old son which she had never used so I was lucky to have not needed to pay any money. I have looked in Argos for this seat, though I couldn't find it though it could be o the page my daughter ripped out! ******THE SEAT****** Although described as a bath ring, it would be more aptly named as a baby bath seat. It is of simple design made from plastic with three ...
...big enough for baby as they grow, and a back support piece. On the front you have three coloured shapes which baby can play with. The one I have is a bright yellow colour which I assume is normal. There are four red suction cups placed strategically on the bottom of the seat to safely stick to the bath. Seat comes ready assembled and is small enough for easy storage. ******TESTING TESTING****** So now onto the test! This is where we see whether ...

Its fun but i need padding!!

Advantages: keeps baby upright, baby cannot slip under water
Disadvantages: crossbar can be hard for boys

...update if this changes. Argos recommend that the seat is used from 7 months or when baby is sitting alone and not to leave your child unsupervised, i used it when my son was 6 months and just starting to sit and at first he did used to fall against the back of the seat but it never moved and he sits fine in it now splashing around and playing with the shapes. The disadvantage i have found with this seat is that the cross bar is quite hard, the ...
...alone i noticed that he was quite red down below, i think this happened when he used to sit right forward so to protect his chances of becoming a father i wrap a flannel around it now and this seems to do the trick. All in all i think it's value for money and really makes bathtime easier for that in-between stage, it gives baby independence of sitting alone safely under your watchful eye. ...

Argos baby bath ring - makes bath time fun!

Advantages: cheap, comes fully assembled, bright and attractive, comes with toy blocks attached, very lightweight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Can tip if not secured properly, suction cups loose the suction after a while.

...i saw this in the Argos catalogue at just £6.99 it seemed very reasonable and very bright and attractive. The seat is very lightweight and easy to use, which means you can secure it to the bath with one hand (all you parents reading this will fully understand how important that is!) The ring secures to the bath via the three suction cups at the bottom of the seat. The child sits in the seat with ease too. You can slip your child into the seat through ...

Baby Bath Chair

Advantages: Great if it will stick to your bath, Cheap,
Disadvantages: Toys, Did not stick to our bath, Kids moaned when they where in it.

...before they sold them. Argos state nothing about they only work on some types of baths. You can either place the chair in the bath once you have filled the bath or before hand if you wish to do so. Making sure that you pushdown on the chair as hard as you can. Also making sure the chair is secure before placing your baby into it. ♥ Cleaning ♥ This chair is easy to clean and I only used the shower to clean it and it did come up looking ...
...you can get one from Argos and E-bay. I paid £6.99 for mine from Argos a few years back. Though they are still the same price today. E-bay you will find one cheaper. ♥ Safety Notes. ♥ Recommend age from 7 months old. Or when your baby can sit unaided. Never leave your baby unsupervised for a second whist in the bath, ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. ♥ My Thoughts ♥ Well as I have said up above we did not have this ...

Argos Bath Ring

Advantages: Lets child play without you holding them in the bath
Disadvantages: Only one colour available

...bath ring costs £6.99 from Argos and has helped me make bathtime a bit safer and more interesting. The ring is made of plastic and comes in a yellow colour. Your child is sat in the ring and thus there is support all round your child. This helps as you child can't fall backwarsd or forwards into the bath. As many of you will know when they are reaching for toys or splashing around they often slip so this gives you peace of mind. On top of the ring ...
...your child something to play with. Cleaning of the ring is very easy and it simply needs a quick wipe with some hot water. The ring needs to be fixed to the bottiom of the bath before it is filled with water so that the suction pads will stick strongly. There is three suction pads on the bottom of the ring meaning that the ring is quite secure when fixed. I have not experienced any problems with the suction pads coming unstuck up to now but I would ...

essential item, but not this particular one

Advantages: support baby in bath, suction cups & easy clean
Disadvantages: bruises for active babies and squashed 'bits' for little boys

This bath ring was an essential item in our bath, our baby used it from 4 months although he still needed support, it was there to help me when he got slippery and of course, to stop him squirming out of my grip - as they do with the excitement of a bath! The bright colour shapes are cheerful and amusing for babies, they looked a bit simple to me at first, but the simplest things never failed to amuse. It is a good price at £5 - £10, seconhand it ...
...around several babies, for what it is, it is definately worth having one to make bathtimes comfortable, if only for about 6 months. The disadvantages are that somtimes the babyy slides on the seat or slumps in my sons case, with the bar being where it is - its not very gentle on your little mans family jewels, the spongy seats are better as they are less likely to slide. also my son ended up with bruises on his shins as the top bar is stiff and ...

ONLY USED IT TWICE but GOOD VALUE 4 MONEY

Advantages: safe seat at affordable price
Disadvantages: can't get some bits washed, short usage

I bought this bath seat when my baby started to seat up. Obviously it's a good quality item. Very steady in a bath. Lovely colours. My was bright yellow with 3 different coloured shapes on the front bar. HERE are advantages of this bath seat. 1) VERY SAFE 2) GOOD DESIGN. My baby LIKED IT straight. 2) AFFORDABLE PRICE. It comes at reasonable price of £6.99 from Argos. I tried to buy on e-bay thinking to get it cheaper but second hand bath ring will ...
...second hand if I can buy a new one for just pound more? Here is another advantage of this seat. 4) GOOD RESALE VALUE.You will have no trouble to sell it quick (say on ebay) and get at least half what you paid back. Now lets talk about DISADVANTAGES. 1) DESIGN. When I placed my my baby (she was 6 months at that time) this seat was a little bit TOO big. I still have to hold her otherwise she slided forward. It would be good if it had some cushion or ...

Luvly Bubbly bath time

Advantages: Able to have lots of fun in the bath
Disadvantages: Getting your baby out of the bath

...Bath ring from my local Argos at £6.99 and it was worth every penny. She was a little nervous at first going from her little baby bath into the big bath but after encourging her with bath toys and mum joining her she soon relaxed. Its a bright and colourful seat with lots of room to be wash her without disturbing her play too much although I had to pick her up to give her a good wash which dosnt go down too well. Review of Argos Baby Bath Ring

Argos Baby Bath Ring is worth the buy!!!!!

Advantages: Keeps baby safe and still
Disadvantages: tricky to pull baby out of

I LOVE this product. The Argos Baby Bath Ring was the perfect transition for my son when he was going from a baby bathtub to the actual bathtub. This product made it so easy for my son to enjoy more room in the larger bath tub without him sliding all over the place. It also taught him that even though he was learning to stand on his own, in the bath tub he needed to sit down. The baby bath ring stayed still the entire time, which mader bathtime for ...

Quick review of Argos Baby Bath Ring

You should not use this or any product similar to this if it has a narrow round bar which goes between the legs, a child can slip down and cause themselves an injury between the legs. You should know that any injury to the genital area of a child is immediately notified to social services who will begin an investigation into your family. If they do not accept that the bath ring is the cause of the injury they can (and will) take your child into care. This is a very serious situation, it is not worth the risk - only use bath chairs that do not have a restraint between the legs. ...

baby bath seat (ring)

Advantages: has it's good uses
Disadvantages: no padding

argos baby bath seat (ring), my daughter was about 7 months old when i brought this product, i found it pretty useful, although my daughter didn't really approve at first, but she got use to it, i think the suction cups are a good idea, although if you have a 'nobbly' bit in your bath it will not stick properly, so bath time was always at the bottom end of the bath. my wife found it very useful especially when she wanted a bath or a shower and the ...
...baby seat at the bottom of the bath with baby in it and the little one just played with the different coloured shapes and splashed at mommy! it is also very easy to clean, which is brilliant, so i think the bath ring is a good idea in many ways, but could use a bit of padding and proberly more shapes or somthing to play with, another good thing is that it's cheap and affordable to any budgit and it keeps baby safe during bath time (or shower time ...
