    After reading a few reviews of others experiences with Argos, I thought I would do my own review as I have ordered a lot of things from them in this way for convenience. Argos.co.uk is the online version of the catalogue. I find it easier to browse through a paper catalogue, then get online and order what I want. Argos.co.uk sell a wide range of products, including furniture, jewellery, toys, kitchen ware, bedding, garden equipment, cameras, televisons, the list is endless.     Advantages Advantages Pre-ordered item arrived on release date in perfect condition. Customer service was very helpful.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages System errors, inability to check order status, no dispatch notice, inappropriate packaging.

    Anyone who so little as looks at my page will be able to see that I am a Sims-aholic; when the release date of The Sims 3 approached, I jumped at the chance to pre-order it. Argos offered the same deal as Amazon did. However, my last pre-order from Amazon (Resident Evil 5) arrived a day late - I was prepared to see if Argos could do any better.     As I have just moved into my first flat, I was looking for some some furniture. I've previously bought items from their shop, and have been very satisifed with the goods. Therefore I decided to use Argos Direct to get a bed, bedroom furniture, plus a TV unit for the living room. After browsing through the Argos catalogue I identifed the items I wanted, and then looked them up on the website. This was quick and easy to do. I selected the items I wanted and payment was taken.     After searching numerous websites for bedroom furniture for my childrens bedroom,i decided the ideal furniture was at Argos as it was the right colour,size and looked great. Ordering was easy to do,selecting the items you want and then simply adding them to your basket.I decided to order Pixel Chix house too as it was on sale as that is on one of this years xmas lists (not mine by the way) and i ordered some batteries that were on offer too.     I bought a cross trainer online, having receive the machine a week later, I noticed that one of the parts was defective. I called Argos customer service line and they told me that I had to wait 33 days or more for a replacement of the machine because they didn't handle spare parts. I told them that I didn't want to wait and they offered me a a refund for the cost of the machine but they will charge me the cost of the delivery, I told them that I didn't want to pay for the delivery clearly because this wasn't my fault but they just didn't care and will charge the £8.95 for the delivery even ... more

    I ordered a mattress and a Tomy Bed Rail from Argos Direct, as they had a time limited free delivery offer. They were also the best price and although normally I would drive to Argos to pick up the bed rail (I only live about a mile away from them) I thought I may as well order it at the same time as the mattress to save myself some trouble! It's easy to place an order - the search facility is okay but not the best! Both items were in stock according to the website.     I have had several dealings with argos direct in the past. For smaller items the service seems to be fine ie. toys etc. But recently I ordered a new cooker. The ordering and confirmation part was fine. I was charged for the goods that day on my credit card and recieved an e-mail the same day telling me delivery would be within 14 days. However as 14 days expired we called argos to find out when it would arrive and they could not give us this information as the delivery was passed onto a seperate delivery company.     Argos.co.uk is Argos's website. It shows all their products and most recent prices. I really like Argos online and think its a really simple way to shop. The website is bright without being overbaring and the welcome page is very easy to navigate. There is a search facility on the 1st page where you can type in the item no. your looking for or a search word. I like the fact that you can look through the latest price cuts online. Instead of having to look through a brochure you can look for particular items such as garden furniture and see all the offers in a click of a button. Once you have ... more

    Argos direct - online shopping Website - very much like there store catalogue, big pictures, and options to enlarge a picture, details about the products. Easy browse options, and has a price and stock checker. The website is very easy to use and to understand top marks for the designer.     I ordered an outdoor play area from Argos Direct, the money was taken from my account the next day. It stated on the website delivery within 10 days and that supplier would contact me with an exact delivery date. After 7 days I had not received a call from supplier so I telephoned Argos who simply gave me the suppliers number, I contacted the supplier and arranged a date.
