    Advantages Advantages Wide range of products. Their own Value range does offer some decent bargains.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes have to wait too long.

    There are very few high streets in the UK that don't have the iconic Argos or Argos Extra store somewhere along them. For decades Argos has been the place to go for more or less anything, and still is to this day. From computer games to sofas, and from wardrobes to lawnmowers, you're virtually sure to find what you're looking for here. It isn't the sort of shop you'd visit on a daily basis, but it nonetheless is synonymous with shoppers all across the land.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Hassle if an item is faulty

    I have always been a fan of Argos. I remember going there as a child and seeing all these mysterious boxes appearing on the belt, waiting to be claimed. It always felt like you were receiving a gift – in fact it still does a little! Despite selecting and paying for an item, when it appears I’m embarrassed to say I still get a little excitement bubbling up as my new present arrives! I find the whole process of shopping at Argos so much easier.     Advantages Advantages i got a nice camera for a low cost price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages they misled the customer into beliving he was buying the correct item

    Over the christmas period my boyfriend very kindly bought me a new digital camera which i was very happy about a very nice ten megapixel pink sony camera at a brilliant price of just eighty pounds. However obviously this camera was going to need a memory card which was purchased with the camera. Now at the checkout his mum clearly asked for the memory card which would fit the camera he was buying for myself. However on christmas day opening my lovely camera the first thing i wanted to do was take some great snaps, however to my dissapointment after a couple of pictures there was no memory left ... more

    Argos is one of the best shops ever in my opinion as you can buy almost anything you could think of other than food. You can buy anything from a toothbrush to a moped the range of goods are amazing. The way that this store works is you pick the item(s) you want from the huge selection of goods in the catalogue of around 900 pages and over 20,000 products and take the catalogue number write it down on a slip of paper take it to the check out and pay for your goods you will then be instructed where you will need to go in the store to collect your item(s).     i bought this morgan ladies stone set wrist watch from argos last month and it was worth it. the wristwatch is originally around 44pounds but argos is selling it for 10.99 pounds. it comes with a gift box and inside the gift box, there is a someting that looks like a leather cushion where the wrist watch is warped around. there is also a paper measuring tape that allows you to resize the watch and send it back to the company incase its not your size. its a bargain.!in my opinion wearing morgan ladies stone set wrist watch makes me feel all blinged up. i wear it with silver bangles and it ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages its never the wait time that the cashier tells you it is!

    Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that the quality may be suffering as a result of the recession? Now to be honest flat pack doesn't really phase me as i tell myself i am quite handy with things like that. However the last few items i have purchased just recently are not what i am used to getting! Where have my locking nuts gone!!!!! And why are you giving us annoying tubes of glue now? I was amazed when i opened up a coffee table to find that the whole of the bottom of it was to be dowled and glued when it clearly needed the locking nuts or at the very least screws.     Argos is a large general goods business which sells many of different kinds of products for example : - Games - Home products - Toys - Jewellery - Sports facilities and many more. Argos was founded in 1973 by Richard Tompkins. There is over 800 stores which is incredible, with around 51,000 employees.     Having looked all over the market place for a home cinema system I finally found the one I wanted at Argos. all I can say was taht the customer service I recieved from the young man who served me was exceptional. he was extremely knowledgable and helped me tremendously with my selection. He was explaining to me that he was going to purchase the same make and model of the home cinema system as me therefore he knew the product inside out.
