    Having shopped at Argos for the past ten years regularly, both via the web and in their shops, I have come to the conclusion that there is little need for me to visit the stores any more, due to the wonderful service I receive by ordering online. Argos stock just about every conceivable item you could want for the home, together with personal items, garden furniture and toys. How many times have you braved the crowds at Christmas time, and had to stand in the Argos store for over an hour, whilst being jostled from both sides, and all the time getting more and more impatient?     I love looking through the Argos catalogue, there's always so many different items that I didn't realise I couldn't live without. And it's such a wonderful way of composing gift lists, but it does have it's disadvantages... ...There are normally long queues in my local store to just pay for your goods, and then you might find out that the person in front of you has just bought the last of that must have item (believe me that's happened to me more times than I can count).     I have shopped at Argos since I can remember. I remember going in with my mum and dad when I was a kid. But even back then, the queue were diabolical!! Even now, you go into the store, Try to find a parking space, wait ages to get to a catalogue, and then find your items out of stock. Then You get stuck in a mile long queue to pay. Once you pay, you then have to wait for your item. Now they think they are clever with their new waiting system. But they are NOT! You have to sit and wait for your number to be called. But how many times have you been called up, and your item isn't even ready ... more

    I have always had something of a disliking for Argos. Whilst I would concede that they are pretty cheap, and that they stock tonnes of stuff, I’ve always thought that they sell things in an extremely complicated way. It was therefore something of a challenge to me to see if their online branch could fare any better than their high street stores.     I have been a big fan of argos for many years and am lucky enough to have an argos store right across the road and the website at my fingertips 24/7. I have ordered a wide range of products from argos.co.uk and have used a lot of the services offered - from the online reserve feature - to the delivery service. Products ordered from argos - have ranged from televisions to vaccum cleaners all the way to batteries.     On with the continuing saga of the updating of my kitchen. Today, May 17th, I have taken the day off work as my new dishwasher was delivered today. As regular readers of my reviews may remember, I recently had my kitchen refitted, and the designer managed to fit a small space in for a slimline dishwasher.     We decided that it was time to buy some bedroom furniture and, having checked out local shops first, we made our choice from the Argos catalogue as that was the only place we could find all the solid wooden furniture we wanted at a price that we could afford!     I have always made sure that I have an up to date Argos catalogue as they sell pretty much everything in one place and it is always reasonably priced. However since the internet has taken off I have also become a fan of shopping the lazy way and decided to check out their website, Argos.co.uk.     I am having a bad month. I try to do as much as possible on my computer including printing and scanning to make novel christmas cards. We have recetly upgraded our computer and to my absolute horror my old scanner wasn't compatible with the new computer. I decided that the new scanner I wanted would be one from Argos as there is a good selection in the catalogue.
