Artec AS6E

Out of all of the scanners that i have owned i have to say that this one was the best. The better your system gets the better the scanner gets. I currently have a Cyrix 300 and i have the scanner scanning with a single pass in about 15 seconds. My favrite thing about this scanner is the program that comes with it. you can make the scanner do pretty much anything, within reason of course, and as such can make the output quality nothing short of excelent. This scanner is able to do its job of scanning documents, pictures or almost anything else to computer or to print it out as like a photocopier. The scanner software is easy to use, but the problem is that the software included sometimes messes up the scanning previews and the actual scanning of documents you try to scan. This is only occasional though so it is fine to put up with it. On Viewstation AS6E, you can scan it to a number of destinations:- Applications, File, Printer, E-mail, Fax Machine and the copy/paste clipboard.
