    Living with someone with gluten intolerance can be just as bad as actually having the problem yourself - mealtimes can be a real problem when everyone else is eating normally and they require something different. Especially when the person is 6 years old and a very fussy eater. My daughter loved all the usual foods kids like - such as chicken nuggets, fish fingers, sausages, spaghetti and so on - the problem we face now is that all these contain gluten and have to be avoided like the plague.     Whilst being resonably priced these sausages are not only tasty but bring my 15 year old son a snack he can cook for himself in minutes!Well done Asda for finally pleasing one typically critical teenager!The only draw back that I have found to these sausages is that they are somewhat fatty possibly this is a requirment to hold them together as gluten is the so called 'stretchy starch' however I doubt it!On the whole Asda's gluten free range is just about the best but I must admit my son's firm favourite (at the moment)has to be Sainsburys gluten free lasagne!But that is another opinion!The ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages quite fatty when cooking

    Well done to Asda for recognising that there is a huge part of our population who require GLUTEN FREE products. It would seem that awareness of the coeliac condition is gradually increasing, which is good. Asda have a pretty good range of Gluten free products compared to a lot of supermarkets, and they dont cost a fortune, shock!!!!and even more shocking they actually tase nice!!!!!!!!! The gluten free sausages are found in the fresh meat section, but are suitable for freezing, which is good, because when you see them it is best to stock up, they seem to sell quite quickly.
