Advantages Advantages Great gameplay, great music and voice acting, recruiting assassins is cool

Disadvantages Disadvantages Weak story, Desmond is still bland, tower defence

Assassin’s Creed Revelations is the last and probably the worst Assassin’s Creed game to star Ezio Auditore di Firenze, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. It’s actually a great game but Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood were so good that they set the bar really high. The problem with Assassin’s Creed Revelations is that it feels to similar to previous games. It has a few new features and some of them are fun, while others aren’t very fun and are honestly pretty bad. Thankfully though, it does keep the signature game play elements that it’s famous for. Not to mention, it still has terrific ... more

Advantages Advantages Great gameplay, love the assassins championship manager.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Terrible writing, nothing really new about the game.

Good morrow sirs and or madams, behold my extremely late Assassins Creed Revelations review. Ok well the first thing I want to say about this game is I really wanted to hate it, I’m just sick of being dicked around by this game, I expected each new game to be a new time, a new character and a new experience but we’ve been stuck with this douchey greaseball for the past three games, he’s not bad but he’s no Nathan Drake or Max Payne, he can’t really carry a series, he has no real personality, he’s not particularly funny or clever, I really think they should have just moved on rather than trying ... more

Advantages Advantages New features added onto the game

Disadvantages Disadvantages Story is really short and pretty weak

Revelations compared to it's predecessors is not very good. You would obviously expect a spectacular ending for the infamous Ezio Auditore Da Firenze and it's quite an interesting one but playing through the game, this does not matter. The reason being is because of the story that leads to this ending. Ezio travels to Constantinople to find the 5 keys to the hidden library in Masyaf. That's it.... Throughout this game the only task you have is to travel to 5 different locations in search of these keys and apart from that there is nothing else to do- No side missions like in previous titles ... more

Advantages Advantages Good story line, Great effects, Long lasting

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can get confusing at times, but enjoyable working it out.

I am not normally keen on computer games. I am not a gamer and I get very bored when my Hubby plays them. However, Assasins Creed is something different. I actually enjoy him playing it, I can get into the story and play along with him. The graphics are brilliant and I love the use of famous historical characters. Ezio, the main character, is quite comical at times...very much a ladies man! My hubby went through a phase of playing the COD games, but he has now given up with them as actual game play is completed in just a few hours.....which makes it an expensive hobby! However Assassins Creed ... more

    Advantages Advantages Same as usual

Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing new, awful Desmond storyline.

I loved the games prior to Revelations. In particular, the storyline of Desmond caught my attention and has kept me enticed with the franchise throughout. Each game introduced new abilities and game types which made playing different and prevented boredom I still consider the game a single-player game as I have never got into the multi-player element. I do not particularly enjoy it due to the slow nature of the matches. What makes it worse is Ubisoft's insistence on using the multi-player pass mechanism which restricts the multi player experience to only the original owners of the disc. This ... more
