    Advantages Advantages Not sprinkled with sugar on top, nice pastry, chunky apples, nice hot or cold, good flavour

    Disadvantages Disadvantages It isn't the same as home made, nutritional data

    INTRODUCTION My Mum and I fancied an apple pie for pudding one Sunday lunch, so on a recent shopping trip to Waitrose I paid a visit to the frozen desserts section. Initially, I looked for an own brand version which was out of my price range, so I thought again. Then, I came across an Aunt Bessies's Apple Crumble, but I had one of those (though a different brand) the other week then I came across the Apple Pie.     Advantages Advantages Tastes good, almost tastes homemade, is really fresh, good amount of filling, good price

    When going to a friend’s house a few weeks ago I was stuck on what to take over in the way of dessert. It was quite recently that they had been to my house and we had a cheesecake so I did not want to go down that route, after having a good look around in my local Tesco I was spoilt for choice really but as this was a few weeks ago now and knowing that the weather forecast was going to be rain, wind and generally not a nice day I decided to go down the traditional route of an apple pie, you can not beat a bit of warm apple pie and custard!
