INTRODUCTION My Mum and I fancied an apple pie for pudding one Sunday lunch, so on a recent shopping trip to Waitrose I paid a visit to the frozen desserts section. Initially, I looked for an own brand version which was out of my price range, so I thought again. When going to a friend’s house a few weeks ago I was stuck on what to take over in the way of dessert.
