...it! Its the Aveda Brilliant shampoo and i got it from beautyandtheeast.com for £9.50 for 250ml and delivery is free! I dont think you can get a much better deal than that. I ordered it because id heard great things about it and although i do love Kerastase Bain Satin (as you'll see from my other review) i do prefer things that are a bit more natural and with an ingredients label that you can pretty much read straight and not find anything weird sounding!
... ...lot of information on the Aveda website that you can access about sustainable development and how the products contribute to this so ticks another box as an ethical company.

...on wet OR dry hair. Aveda states that applying it to wet hair gives it slightly more hold but I have found the product to be weightless either way, as long as you don't use too much. I tend to apply a small amount to my wet hair, blow dry it straight, add some more then seal in the shine with straightening irons (ceramic are the best and less damaging to your hair). Heat is definitely the key factor in bringing out the best in this product. However, ... ...you can always ask the Aveda Consultant (if purchasing in a store) for a small sample. After all, £14 is a lot to spend on something that may not suit your hair (you never know!). Note, Aveda don't make official samples due to their stance on environmental issues (waste of material??)or so my local Consultant told me... unless she was trying to fob me off! The brilliant range of Aveda is mainly for textured hair, I believe. I have wavy hair and I use the shampoo, conditioner and retexturing gel. The 3 products used together produces more curls, rather than just waves. I use it everytime I have a night out, and also the night before I go on holiday, if I do not wish to wash it too quickly into the holiday. The combination keeps the style much longer than other shampoos. As it's name suggests, it's 'brilliant'. ... ...a nightmare as they get off the plane. The retexturing gel is what it says 'a gel'. Although you know you have a styling product in your hair, it's not sticky, and will brush out, without any residue left, immediately. I find the range a bit expensive, but I only use it in 'special situations', and it is therefore well worth the money, considering that I have bought each in quantities of 200g/200ml, about 6 months ago, and each still has at least ...

When you look at the title of this shampoo you hope that it really is going to be as good as it makes out to be.Luckily enough this shampoo did just that for me. I wasnt sure if this was going to do anything for my hair as it was a brand that I had not come across before so was more than weary about trying it.
