I have used Aveda Scalp Benefits Balancing Shampoo for nearly 3 years now and has proved for me to be a one of the best hair care products that I have ever tried. I was definitely going through more of a dry, straw-like phase (see Shampure review), and this shampoo quickly reversed the trend: within a week or two if I remember rightly. One caveat here is that I do use the shampoo and the conditioner, so I couldn't say whether this is as effective when combined with other conditioning products. ...

...this product by my local Aveda retailer. It is fantastic! After just one wash three people commented on how shiny my hair was and I have had nothing but compliments ever since! After using this product in combination with the Scalp Benefits Conditioner for over a year my hair is in great condition even though I blow dry and straighten (using super hot GHD straighteners) every day!
