Advantages: Natural ingredients and does what it claims Disadvantages: Perhaps a little expenive
I have used Aveda Scalp Benefits Balancing Shampoo for nearly 3 years now and has proved for me to be a one of the best hair care products that I have ever tried.

'''About Aveda'''
Aveda was created in 1978. The company makes 'high performance, botanically based' beauty products. They are also (or claim to be) environmentally friendly. It contains the following natural ingredients: ...

To avoid trekking to shops stocking Aveda and to benefit from registered member discounts, I do buy this on the web, but the prices above are the standard 'non-member' option. ...

...this product by my local Aveda retailer. It is fantastic! After just one wash three people commented on how shiny my hair was and I have had nothing but compliments ever since! After using this product in combination with the Scalp Benefits Conditioner for over a year my hair is in great condition even though I blow dry and straighten (using super hot GHD straighteners) every day! And where I was having to wash my hair every morning it now lasts ...
