I’ve often looked at Aveda products in department stores and wondered what they were like but, despite being a beauty junkie, I had never actually parted with cash for any of their products. Aveda are a US company specialising in producing natural beauty products that don't contain synthetic ingredients or chemicals. They are environmentally friendly as well as being good for your body and hair.
I first noticed the Aveda haircare range when I went to a different hairdresser than usual; Mahogany. As I left the salon I was touching my (usually rather frizzy, damaged) hair and realised how smooth and un-damaged it felt. I asked the girl ... ...It's a strong, herbal smell. Aveda use natural oils to scent their products rather than chemicals and it really does seem to make a difference. The whole room smelled of herbs when I'd finished! Although Aveda don't use any non-natural ingredients to help the shampoo lather up well, it certainly did that. One thing I particularly love about this shampoo is that your hair doesn't "squeak" afer you rinse it off.

...seven years ago I saw Aveda Shampure demonstrated on television, wondered what all the fuss was about and knowing that I could send it back if I didn't like it, sent for some.
The American company Aveda is environmentally friendly, doesn't test on animals and their products don't contain petrochemicals. Shampure contains 25 pure plant and flower essences ( that'll be why it smells nice then........) Looking down the list of ingredients, I recognise ... ...contains Morikue protein from the Peruvian rain forests, (not a lot of people know that!). It's dificult to describe the perfume but a mix of lavender and orange are as accurate as I can be. Just take it from me, it smells gorgeous, better than Herbal Essence in my humble opinion. Very luxurious. It's a unisex shampoo, though two of the men in my family love it but one relative thinks that the perfume is a bit too feminine.

When I saw this shampoo first advertised on QVC the Shopping Channel I was quite sceptical about it. I bought one of their sample packs to try and was instantly won over. The smell is amazing and it leaves my hair very soft and easy to manage. I always used to use shampoo for greasy hair but since using Shampure my hair has hardly ever been greasy. I recently bleached my hair which made it quite dry and brittle but Shampure soon returned it to its ... ...this shampoo doesn't leave a yucky build up on the hair. With a litre pump bottle selling at around £25 from QVC, it has lasted over a year (2 people washing their hair every day) representing remarkably good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save money and look after their hair. ...

ok first of all the bottle looks nothing like the picture it comes in a off-white plastic (partly recycled) bottle with a flip top lid for the 50ml and 250ml bottle and you can buy a dispenser for an extra 99p for the litre size bottles..as its almost impossible to use without a dispenser i think its a bit cheeky to have to pay for it! anyhow the 50ml is £3, the 250 ml is £9 and the litre bottle is 26pounds which actually works out the cheapest/ml ... ...shampoo claims to contain 25 essential oils including lavender, coriander, rosemary, orange and morikue protein..extracted from brazilian nuts.. and it does smell gorgeous maybe not instantly but if you take the time to inhale the aromas while lathering you will notice the various smells for the smell of coriander and lavender and lemon/orange smell stuck out the most and its quite luxurious treat in the shower expecially after a long stressful day/night. ...

...been using Shampure and another Aveda product, Sap Moss, for over three years now. I tend to use Sap Moss when my hair is recently permed or coloured, and then revert back to Shampure which I use every other day, using Sap Moss once a week for a deeper conditioning treatment.
This product is not cheap, the average cost for a litre bottle of either the shampoo or conditioner is around £25, but a litre easily lasts 6 months plus - 3 times a week every ... ...available in House of Fraser and you can find stockists on the Aveda.com website.
I would happily recommend this product to anyone thinking of trying it for the first time, I would not consider changing to another brand and now also use other Aveda hair styling and finishing products. ...

...now used shampure and other aveda products for a number of years. I first tried shampure after seeing it on QVC. At over £20 for a 1litre bottle it seemed expensive. But I thought I'd give it a go.
I had always suffered from a dry itchy scalp and had accepted I had to live with it. However after using this shampoo this cleared up within a couple of weeks.
It smells lovely when you put it on your hair and you only need a 10p size bit to wash your ... ...soft and nice smelling.
It contains plant extracts and no petrochemicals which strip hair.
Although it was over £20 for a litre it lasts me usually 6 months when washing daily. But I do have short hair. So I find that it is economical in the long run, apart from my scalp being healthier. Would I stop buying it. No. I sometimes use the colour range as well for a change which is just as good. The beauty of the shampure is that is suits all the family ...

...buy animal cruelty free shampoos. Aveda are totally cruely free in that neither the product or ingredients have been tested on animals. The main ingredients in this shampoo are: coriander oil, eucalyptus oil, lavender oil, orange oil bitter and wheat conditioners. The scent of this is really strong and those ingredients do come through in the scent. If you do not like strong scents then this may not be the shampoo for you as it is quite "heady" and ... ...Now on the Aveda website it recommends that this shampoo is best for daily use as it gentle and whilst cleansing also nourishes. It also says it is suitable for all hair types. The liquid itself when in your hair lathers really well so you do not need lots of this product which makes it more cost effective than your average shampoo. A 250ml bottle will cost you £9.30 from their website. After using this shampoo I did find my hair looked a bit shiner ...

When I first saw AVEDA advertised on a certain shopping channel I thought to myself, god thats expensive, but the more they talked about it the more intriged I became, so off to the phone I went and ordered my first bottle of SHAMPURE.
For the £22.00 I paid I got a 1ltr bottle complete with a pump dispenser,which you dont often get with the product, you usually have to pay for it seperatly.
