Avent Magic Cup

I got my first Avent magic cup free when I purchased the Avent Steam Steriliser. It sat in my cupboard for sometime until the time came to start introducing extra fluids to my baby boys diet when he was around 5 months. The cup I had was suitable for 3 months plus and held 70z or 200ml of fluid. It was bright yellow with a blue screw top. Magasines had struck fear into me that baby MUST NOT (sorry for capitals, thats how stern magasines and literature came across!!) drink juice from a bottle/teat. ...fit onto to your existing Avent bottles - or alternatively you can buy a brightly coloured cup + handles with these spouts. Inside the spout, you also have to fit a 2 piece valve, making it more fiddly than other trainer cups, but you soon get used to it! My daughter took to drinking from this Avent System straight away (when she was only 4 - 5 months old). I was literally able to throw away her bottle "teats" & change them all for "spouts" overnight!!! ...

The lid has a plastic spout to drink from, and inside the lid there is a clear piece of plastic which acts as a valve, and it is this wonderful little valve which keeps the liquid from spilling everywhere. ...they can fit on existing Avent bottles. So i got my daughter used to holding her bottle using the Cup handles. I also began giving her the cup spout with the bottle body so it didn't look like a completely new thing. Avent Magic Cup is an overall good value for money. It's convenient to hold. It's non-spill. Plus, you can easily buy replacement spouts and handles should you ever need to. The top of the cup also fits all Avent bottles. Fairly colourful to make it attractive for babies too :-). However, age suitability is not accurately indicated.
