Advantages Advantages You can get your money back if you do not like this product!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Amber coloured scent looks like cat's p**s!

Prowl is one of those fragrances that you either love or hate. It claims to be for the young independent, free-spirited and wild woman of the Millennium. Avon states that Prowl allows you ‘to follow your instincts’ and my instinct, frankly, is to hate it! I find the aroma of Prowl to be powdery when sprayed on my skin and in general not particularly pleasant (I am reminded of Max the Cat's Toilet!). Avon claims that this fragrance is sultry and seductive, designed for the wild at heart. The only thing it turns wild is my husband, wild with repulsion! **Fragrance** Prowl is a woody, slightly ... more

Advantages Advantages mild, gentle, subtle scent - if this is what you want

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't last long, boring bottle, nothing special

Be gentle with me! This is my first ever opinion about perfume. Why? Well, I really don’t wear it very often. I just can’t see the point of spending loads of money on a scent to make you smell nice. I mean, obviously smelling nice is important, but what’s wrong with soap and deodorant? Especially when perfumes are never cheap. But I have recently re-discovered the joys of Avon, treating myself from each catalogue and building up a wonderful stash of beauty products, face cleansers, make-up and so on. With most brochures, you find you get a free sample of perfume for buying ... more

Advantages Advantages Could be used to deter mice or rats!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Could be used to deter people!

If you want to attract the neighbourhood toms, then this is the fragrance for you! The animalistic packaging should provide a hint, I suppose, but generally one wants to have the mystic allure of a tigress when using a new perfume and not the smell of one! I was given my Prowl by relatives - a Christmas present. If it's the thought that counts, then heaven knows what they think of me! That I'm out on the razzle every night with every tom, dick and harry? I was looking forward to trying something new so you can envisage my shock when the first effect was one of breathlessness. It literally took ... more

    Advantages Advantages ? attracts cats!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Stinks like cat pee

I have just tried Prowl by Avon and I have to say it is the most disgusting thing I have smelt. The seductive packing with the leopardskin box hides the fact that it smells more like cats pee. I gave it to some of my friends to try and I have yet to find anyone that likes it. The scent is too heavy and is very cloying. To anyone who is thinking of buying this I would say ask for a sample first because you dont know what you are letting yourself in for, its horrid a resounding nil points as they say on Eurovision. ... more
