...other reviews, I am an Avon representative (I've done a review on being one, too) and because of this I've always got my nose in the latest catalogues and am always spending waaayy too much on products I don't need, just because I can get them a little bit cheaper than everybody else (hehe)..

For example, there is a really good offer on at the moment, in Brochure 14 it is only £1.60 for a 250ml bottle, so you are saving 40p, but EVEN better than this, you also get to choose a free summer collection shower gel when you buy the senses shower gel, so you can get two shower gels for only £1.60, that's ...

Avon goes all the way back to 1886 when an American Businessman David McConnell thought it would be a good idea to sell perfumes door to door. Originally known as the Calafornian Perfume Company, the company saw the name change in 1939 to Avon and enter the UK in 1959. Today Avon is an extremely reputable and one of the leading beauty brands in the UK market.
We are all familiar with Avon and more than likely most people still get a catalogue pushed ... ...a lot higher than what Avon has to offer, but for the likes of bath products I do like to keep stocked up and use the Avon Senses range.
Relatively new to Avon, probably been in the catalogue for about two years now, the Senses range comprises of shower gel, body scrub, bath foam and hand wash. The used to do a soap bar which was fabulous but was discontinued after a very short time.
The Avon Senses Shower Gel comes in two different sizes 250ml ...

...know I promised no more Avon reviews for a while but I just have to tell you about a new wonderful range coming from Avon. Some people may be aware of the range already as some areas are ahead of others but this stuff won’t be on the website for probably another 3-4 weeks. ...Despite some people believing that Avon products are only for old women, I have found this just isn’t true. My kids love Avon and so do I, as my Avon lady will prove, as I usually order something from her most months!
One of my favourite ranges of Avon is the Senses range of bathroom products, especially the mandarin variety. I have always loved fruity fragrances and this is one of the best. It is a lovely smell and just the right strength for me. ... ...are all well priced and Avon often have special offers on, which means you can get them even cheaper!
The products don’t seem cheap in quality or packaging though. The lotions are thick and creamy, the shower gels are just the right consistency and the designs used are clear, colourful and modern. I have tried most of the products in the Senses range and want to describe a few of them. I haven’t used many of the antibacterial ones though, because ...

...recently that I started buying Avon products. Before then I thought of Avon as old-fashioned and for grannies. Then one evening I glanced through an Avon catalogue a friend had and realised they had some products I was interested in at very good prices and delivered free to your door.
One of these was this range of shower gels. They're very bright coloured with interesting aromas and are really good value, everyday shower gels.

Anyway at £1 they would have to smell pretty awful not to be worth it. Luckily they weren't. The Mandarin is lovely, fruity which makes it refreshing but with a hint of spiciness so you don't just smell of oranges! It's a much more sophisticated scent than a lot of fruit shower gels available. ...

So I purchased this Senses shower gel from my local Avon representative, the Senses range is a fairly new range to Avon, which ranges from shower gels to hand washes. Advantages: Smells gorgeous, lathers up nice and doesn't burn Disadvantages: Smell doesn't last long enough, not very hydrating
...I received 3 bottles of Avon Senses from my fiance's sister (hand wash, bubble bath & shower gel) I was reluctant to put them in the bathroom for fear that they would be used by everyone else. So I stuck them in a cupboard and didn't discover them again until I moved into a flat with my fiance.
If I'm honest I am so used to getting reasonably boring smellies for christmas and had a box full of the stuff when I moved here. It's one of those presents ... ...put them on. But Avon Senses is great, it smells absolutely gorgeous, it doesn't feel like you're not cleaning yourself, just covering yourself with liquid, and it doesn't burn when you put it on. It is by all means a great gift for someone special.
There are a couple of down points to it though, one of which is that although it smells beautiful when you are washing with it, the smell doesn't seem to stick around very long after you have finished. ...

Advantages: good range of scents, makes skin soft, great value for money Disadvantages: only has a flip top so cannot hang up in shower
Since buying Avon Senses Shower Gel approximately 2 months ago, I have not bought any other brand of shower gel. Why?, I hear you ask. Well the following are the reasons why I believe these really are the best value shower gels currently on the market...

2). These shower ... ...Apart from these regular fragrances, Avon also release limited edition fragrances. Once these leave the main brochure they enter the sale brochure for a period of time. Advantages: nice lasting fragrance, not expensive, good range Disadvantages: none that I can think of
Avon Senses shower gels are well priced at £1.50 for 250ml. I have tried and still use the Mystique and Reflection ones from the range, but there are several others, all with different smells and bright colours.
Mystique claims to be sensual and romantic, and in fact, does smell how I would imagine it would. There is the slightest hint of sweetness to it, but not too much. The frangrance is absolutely gorgeous, and lasts for a few hours after showering. ... ...Rflection is purple, and labelled as peaceful and soothing. i expected it to smell of lavender, but it doesn't. Again, the frangrance isn't overpowering and smells like nothing else I can accurately describe. It's a bit like a combination of Radox bubble bath, and those night-time pillow sprays you can buy to aid sleep. That sounds daft but it is a nice, soothing scent.
The shower gels are a good consistency, although I prefer mine a little more ...

...here I am with another Avon review! This one is on Avon senses shower gels.
Avon senses is a new range of products, 5 different smells in total, each with there own title, all different be benefit your mood.
The different smells are:
'Get ready' which is fresh and aquatic, which has a fresh watery smell to it. Very refreshing. This one is blue.
'My moment' which is lavender and waterlily, the lavender overpowers the product, but it still smells ... ...senses.
Yes and loving Avon that much I just had to order something from each senses range!
The first thing I tried out in this range was 'divine time' shower gel.

My favourite of the 5 is the Get Ready range. This one seems a more 'manly' variety than the others in that it is not a flowery scent. It is similar to many similar brands which market their product as a 'sporty' fragrenced shower gel.

Quick review of Avon Senses Shower Gel
I love this range, I buy it from my Avon lady but it is also available online. My personal favourite is the blue Get Ready, I have this as a shower gel & body scrub. My skin is so much better, feels softer, especially my thighs which were very bumpy. They often have these on offer, so I look out for the offers & buy several in one go & store them in the wardrobe. I particularly like the scent, not flowery which isn't me, & hubby uses it as well. I think they have revamped the packaging so I hope it is still as good & they scent hasn't changed. I bet the old version will be around in the sale catalogue so worth looking out for. ...
