    Having great nails that can wear lots of trendy nail colours is something I long to do but at the moment I need to grow my nails long. Okay I have bitten them in the past but stopped now. Long nails require lots of care and grooming. When the last Avon booked dropped though the door I began to investigate the nail care range. Avon calls this range Nail Experts. Avon claims that nail are ‘visibly improved in just seven days’. I wanted to try it out for myself, so I persuaded mummy to by me a bottle.     Advantages Advantages speeds up the growth of nails, it's unbelievable!

    This is a brilliant product and I can't recommend it highly enough. There aren't many brands which bring you a product that increases the growth of your nails and this one really works. It comes in a normal sized nail varnish bottle so you get a good amount of product, it's a clear looking fluid with a slightly cloudy appearence to it and has a faint but strange smell, nothing unappealing though.     I have been using Avon's nail care products for a couple of years now. I tend to purchase them when they are on offer in the Avon brochures, just to try out. This 'tough enough' top and base coat by nail experts was my personal favourite from the range, and a product I still continue to use since I first ever tried it. I must add that in the time I have been using it Avon did discontinue this exact product and now do a bottle called 'Strong results' which I have tried and found it to be exactly the same as 'tough enough'.     For years and years I have suffered from weak, brittle and chipped nails so much so that I became an habitual nail biter. A friend of mine has lovely long mails and is able to use all the wonder different colours of nail varnish and yes I was extremely envious. Having been invited to a wedding gave me the excuse I needed to make a determined effort to sort my nails out.     Avon Strong results is a nail strengthener. The idea of it is, that you paint it onto your nails and after a period of time it will make your nails stronger, so as to prevent your nails splitting or chipping. How does it compare to other products? I had used a nail strengthener before – Collection 2000 nail hardener – and I found that it didn’t work, which is why when my mam gave me this product I didn’t expect it to work.     Advantages Advantages It really does work, and dries in to the nail so ideal if you cant wear nail polish for work

    Disadvantages Disadvantages smell is a bit overpowering

    I used to work in jewellers, my nails were always perfectly shaped and manicured and in lovely condition as they were on show most of the time this had to be the case! However two children and a hell of a lot of housework later my nails are ermmmm slightly neglected. My nails tend to be quite thin and peel pretty bad, I have quite severe ridges and they are just in a state of neglect in general.....that is until about two weeks ago.     Believe it or not there is nail product that can actually help you grow your nails. Avon's Strong Results is that product. After many years with awful looking nails I decided to try this product out to see if it would work for me. ( my nails chip and break so easy and where always all dead looking ends) It is recommended you use this product for seven days - painting it over a clean nail and letting it soak in to the nail it's self. So I painted my nails once every day for seven days - and wow what results i got. After seven days my nails had grown faster than I had ever seen in my entire life ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages You have to remember to paint it on everyday!

    After having my acrylic false nails removed my own nails were in a terrible state - very weak and basically wrecked. I look around for a nail strengthener but they were all so expensive and then my mum recommended this. You paint it on your nails at least once a day for at least a week. I used to paint it on my nails around twice a day for around 2 weeks. The liquid is very runny so its not like nail varnish but it dries into your nail almost instantly and when it's applied you can feel your nail drinking it up with relief!!     I bought this stuff around 6 months ago and after all my life having short bitten down brittle nails found that this is a product that is well worth a buy! My nails are in excellent condition now, i put the varnish on twice a day sometimes more and they just grow grow grow. I was so impressed that i bought my mum some as she had the same problem as me a 'nail nibbler' and hers are the same super strong and super long Well worth buying so cheap to - must say this is by far the best nail product i have found yet!!! i can now put nail polish on my nails ans they look fab weldone AVON dont know ... more

    Advantages Advantages It's a clear liquid, can be used with or without nail polish, and dries quickly.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages If it touches the skin around the nails this can become hard.

    My nails were in a sad state; then I found a product which made all the difference. It's painted on each day for seven days then removed - and is called eat and drink. I found the eat worked best for my nails; they grew hard and strong and then I switched to the drink. By gauging my nail's needs I can keep them in excellent condition by using either the eat or drink. It can be used over nail polish too. Even using the products daily they lasted for almost a year and at £12 I believe I've got a bargain. ... more
