Advantages: Silly and quite enrtertaining! Disadvantages: All the contestants work for the BBC!
...wall and win points.
BBC1 broadcast the show on a Saturday night at around 5.30; this is a simple show and acts as a warm up for the evening schedule that until last Saturday was revolving around Strictly Come Dancing. Presented by dale Winton the show consists of two teams of three celebrities that compete in various rounds to get through the hole in the wall.
Personally I don't have any issues with this show at all, it is harmless fun and the ... ...that level of campness only Winton can provide. It also surprises me as to how the contestants dress as well, the fact that they are at some point going to get wet is inevitable anyway, but to actually have to wear a silver metallic lycra catsuit with hard helmet is not only a bit over the top but must also must hinder the movements when playing the game. One thing that is a bit strange is the list of contestants that take part in the show, obviously ...

Advantages: Can be hilarious! Disadvantages: Can be cruel!
Hole in the Wall is a TV game show, currently showing on the BBC and in America, on the Fox Network. The show has been 'Americanised' from a Japanese concept show called 'Brain Wall', also known as 'Human Tetris' on YouTube. Basically, two teams of three take it turns to fit through different shaped holes in a wall. Sounds easy, except if you don't fit, you fall in pool of water - gutted!
The show can be found on the beeb on Saturday early evening, ... ...who are Anton DuBeck and Darren Gough (has a strictly theme officially started now for Saturdays?). The team changes each week and consists of random has-beens that no-one has ever heard of...apart from the Cheeky Girls, and they've been on, and they're like Celebrity Royalty aren't they! ...Aren't they?
The general game structure changes from country to country and basically goes as follows:
In round one, one person from each time goes first. ...

Advantages: Started off funny Disadvantages: but then fell at the first hurdle, never to recover
This not so original game show consist of the quiz mistress Dale Winton basically humiliating lycra clad team leaders Anton Du Beke (strictly come dancing fame) and cricketer Darren Gough, together with two other "celebrities" on each team, varying weekly.
This BBC hosted show created 10 half hour episodes and began airing them in 2008.
==WHAT IS IT THEN..?==
Each team member, donned in tight fitting Lycra suits and safety hats, has to stand on ... ...to avoid getting wet by jumping through an oddly shaped hole in a wall which is hurtling towards them at break neck speed, (well not quite break neck, more snail slime speed), each round causing the wall to be more difficult and a little faster.
If the member manages to jump through the hole then they are awarded points depending on style and grace, these points are decided by the ever ready Dale Winton, who casts his eyes over the entire show.

The wall comes in the form of polystyrene hurtling towards them, and the hole comes in the form of various shapes and sizes (usually depicting unnatural body contortions) cut out of this wall of doom!! If they fail to make the correct shape, allowing the wall to pass over them, they will be pushed by its force into ...

Advantages: Funny, original, gets better after first episode. Disadvantages: Compare it to the other versions!
Hole In The Wall has to be Britain's craziest game show! But is it a clear, or a fail?
Hole In The Wall is a Japanese idea. In Japan, they call it "Brain Wall," or as people on YouTube (a video-sharing website) call it, "Human Tetris."
A polystyrene wall with an oddly shaped hole in it, tries to knock celebrities into a pool of cold, cold water. The celebs also have to dress up in skin-tight lycra and put a helmet on their head!
Dale Winton hosts ... ...team captains, (Anton, red team. Darren, blue team) and then you have the celebrities.
Solo Wall - There are 3 celebs on each team, 2 celebs and the team captain. The non-captain celebs make their way to the play area one by one, they do it solo.
Captains Challenge - The captains get a harder wall or an item to hold, or they must to the wall with their back to it or with a blindfold on.
Mystery Guest or Killer Question - The team with the most ...

Advantages: can be funny, interesting concept Disadvantages: once you've seen five minutes you've seen enough
'Hole in the Wall' is the latest primetime television show with the aim of demeaning 'so called' celebrities and it succeeds in a major way. The show is an adaptation of a Japanese show, hence the reason why it's so bizarre, anybody who's ever seen Takeshi's Castle will understand what I mean by this. The concept is simple, celebrities stand in front of a swimming pool and have a large polystyrene wall travelling towards them at speed. The only way ... ...the water is to match their body shape to the shape illustrated or cut-out of the wall, some of them are incredible and they get harder as the rounds go by, towards the end involving all three team members simultaneously. It takes roughly five seconds for the wall to arrive at the participants and if they get the shape wrong they'll be knocked in! Some of the larger individuals have actually broken the polystyrene and managed to remain dry though. ...
