...point of view. The BMW automatic gearbox is not great; we used to have a 330 petrol automatic and my 300 D manual was much quicker. In any case, these cars are drivers cars, so enjoy them more with a manual gearbox, which for me has returned 42.1 mpg over the 25,000 miles. from the moment i sat in the seat it was an absoloute thrill, not only is it a great looking car and very very well built, but an exciting car to drive and yes its diesel. the interior of the car is as you would expect, not changed much but very driver friendly, a great family car with enough air bags to raise the titanic, isofix which i consider a must for anyone with children, and no cup holders, sorry but its no place for a picnic. on the road ...
