Advantages: Economy! Performance and handling Disadvantages: space, servicing, comfort
This car shows its real attributes when out on the open road. The big 3.0 diesel motor really delivers the grunt and this thing pulls like a train when it comes on boost. But surprisingly at no real cost to economy. Still happily returns at least 35mpg and will give at least 45mpg on a long motorway run. The 3 series has never been renowned for comfort (for that you'll need a 5 series or a Merc) but as a drivers car there are few better. Sure footed ... ...options list is long and while the standard car is not as well equipped as some rivals you can select most desirables from the brochure albeit at a bit of a premium. That said the Sat Nav system is good and the audio system is adequate - becomes much better when upgraded. ...
