BMW 520i

...different descriptions,including a 3 series BMW but then I bought my current car 7 months ago.Its a BMW 520i-an SEi im reliably informed but the first owner didn`t choose all the special equipment options available! Have owned it for 5 years. It is 15 years old now. Got through it's National Car Test the other day, apart from some rear bulbs that had gone. The 5 series has pretty much set the standard for executive cars since the late 80's. Though I'm sure Mercedes are trying hard with their E class. I've been very pleased with mine overall. I'll definitely buy another BMW. The car, despite it's advanced age, still does everything well. They are built to last. ...

...I have ever owned. BMW is sporting looking, practical and you can fit that shopping in the boot for the married persons amoungst you. At first, I had the old 5 series which to be humble, looks like a OAP motor. The thing they forgot to tell me that with the 6 cyl under the bonnet, it goes like a ferrari. The new 5 series handles great and sit nicely on the autobahn at 220 km/h without even having to try. Kick it down into sports mode on the auto ...

All I can say is amazing. I borrowed one of a rich uncle for a few months and it was such a dream. The styling on this new one is beautiful. I know some of you don't like it but I can't get enough of it! Most people won't know this but its actually not a 2.0 litre as its badged but its a 2.2 litre. ...it has been updated from the previous 7 series and works alot better but it has a problem. If the outside temperature drops below -3C you then have a problem. The iDrive tends to crash when it gets colder than this and it will and has done. Safety is very good in this version. I bought a BMW 520i 2000' and everyone was telling me that @I have to go easy on the pedal because they are heavy on petrol. We bought our bmw 520i in June 2001. It's a '93 reg and already had over 100,000 miles on the clock. The car only cost £2000 and has been such a good car to drive. It's got power steering, which you would obviously need in a car this size, electric windows, sunroof, immobiliser, central locking. Running costs have been quite cheap. The only thing it's needed since we've had it was a new battery and a clutch slave cylinder. The insurance isn't bad, ...
