So the new 1150 RT is out, with many similarities but some big differences to the 1100. I've got a 2000 RT and have tested the 1150 and confess to being impressed, but not overly. Not enough to warrant a trade in for sure! The 1100 is a great bike and should not be under-estimated. It certainly...

The BMW R1100RT is by far the BEST moorcycle for someone who likes touring at high (or low) speeds, and who likes to cover large distances at the same time. I have been riding for 37 years and have riden every type of machine there are. I feel the bMW is the best machine I have ever owned (up to...

I purchased my RT in Jan 1998 new for £11,000. Being 6ft 4in and 18 stone it really was the only option for a daily commute of 120 miles. Eats up the miles effortlessly, sips fuel 360 km per tank and that's not hanging about, handles like a bike half it's weight. All adjustable seat, gear change and windscreen. If you are serious about doing the miles it's a no brainer: R1100RT .

I have ridden bikes for over 32 years; most of my bikes were Asian four bangers - but I have experience on many other machines as well. ( Put over 170 000 kms on a GS850G - best bike ever manufactured? ) I like them all. However, since I was a kid I have always wanted a BMW Airhead. Don't know...

This motorcycle is one of the best tourers I have ever had. The comfort is oustanding. The riding positiong is relaxed and you can endure on the road for miles and miles with out being tired. The handling and stability is one of the strongest points in this motorcycle. BMW has made history with...

There is also extra's on this model...radio, heated grips and electric screen for added comfort. For interested patries there are a few gems advertised at the moment on Donedeal.ie.....go and have a look for them ...you will not be dissapointed
