Advantages: 321bhp, No Traction Control, Heated Leather Seats, Luggage Space Disadvantages: Rare
Having now owned mine for 8 months I have fallen in love with this car. I have owned many performance cars before including the e46 m3, s3, golf r32 etc.. and this is my favourite for a number of reasons.
Firstly the way it looks, you either love it or hate it... and the way people look at it due to it being so rare.
The handling is very good, no traction control, just pure driver input. So if you are not an experienced driver, or dont know how ... ...bite!! The 2 comfy seats (heated) and good boot space are perfect if you can live with that. Fits me and my girlfriend in, with luggage to tour europe for a few weeks no problems.
The performance is awesome, what you would expect of the M3 engine, 321bhp and rear wheel drive is the perfect combo. Track days are a must if you want to experience the full potential of this car. Steering could feel a bit more involving, but it is sharp and responsive.

Advantages: Performance, Quality, Fun Disadvantages: Price, Rare
...is certainly the case here, BMW have yet again proven they are top dog with their superior engineering and elegant design. The subtle but meaningful M Power logo dotted around the car just reminds the driver of its pedigree breed, and racing heritage. Some may argue its styling is a little quirky and tasteless, and others will genuinely fall in love with it, but we all know beauty is only skin deep and the M-Coupé has more under the bonnet.
The ... ...all. The brakes on the BMW M-Coupé are something you'll need to get used to, you might find them too powerful at first but it only requires the lightest of input to stop you. Fuel economy is surprisingly good for an engine of this size when driving sensibly, but this all goes out the window when you want to have some serious playtime. There aren't any big issues the M-Coupé but its not perfect, like for example the positioning of the mirrors and ...

Advantages: Looks Amazing, handles well and absolute power Disadvantages: Practicality, Dampness
My rating of this car satisfactory does not reflect on the cars performance which is awesome, but more with the cars practicality as an every day use vehicle especially the convertible if you do buy this car make sure you have a garage as the car becomes damp inside and condensation builds easily my eletcric windows also stick but if its a second car not for every day use go for it because its alot of fun I cant believe im speaking lowly of the car ...

Advantages: Incredibly Rapid, Awesome drive, Can get the dog in the back Disadvantages: Small tank so fill up constantly, its got 2 seats so the wife can come too!
I've had one for 3 years now and it's the best thing ive ever been in, I always get out of it with a big grin on my face! I did the cannonball8000 in it in 2006 and after 4 full days thrashing across europe you get out almost as fresh as when you got in, something our friends in the Nobel couldnt say, brilliant car! Don't know what the last guy was going on about, saying that the "makers claim it's a comfortable 4 seater", he's obviously never seen ... ...only a 2 seater! I got mine after spending ages looking at lots of cars to do the rally in and i kept coming back to the BMW. It truly is a mini supercar! it's incredibly fast, handles.....well, it's very good in the dry but the wet weather really brings it to life. It can be a handful at first, the early cars not having traction control and 321 BHP through those rear wheels is great fun once you've gotten used to driving it. It can suffer with VANOS ...
