    Advantages Advantages easy to use, text message support, 6 extensions can be added, 15 mins recording time

    Disadvantages Disadvantages sometimes it cannot transfer an external calls to another handset

    I have been using this phone for about 3 months. I like it very much. The BT Diverse 5250 twin is a two-handsets pack, so you can have an individual phone in both living room and bedroom. If you run a small business, you can put one phone at the reception desk, and the other in the office room. You can take internal calls between handsets, which costs nothing. I like this feature very much. If you would like to have more additional handsets, you can add up to 6 extra extensions, no telephone wiring needed.     I recently bought these from Manx Telecom (the Isle of Man subsidiary of BT). This gives rise to some peculiarities but the shop staff were helpful. In the Isle of Man, you accept the differences. The setup was difficult. It took us several attempts to get the phones working even though it should have been comparitively easy. The menu system is a little fiddley - two buttons but four controls. This does make it time-consuming to set up. The instruction booklet is quite complicated and having a different booklet for the base unit and the other handset does not help. Using the phones is easy ... more
