BT Response 75

INTRODUCTION The other day, my brother asked me to go out and buy an answering machine for under £40. He said that he wanted one that was capable of storing a lot of messages, is aesthetically pleasing and is a high quality brand. I looked through the Argos catolgue and then had a look through Ciao to see what I could find. I didn't see anything that I liked but I then stumbled across this one after an hour or so searching. Yesterday I bought my third machine of this type. Don't get me wrong, it's not that it breaks easily. The dog chewed the wire on the first one but I'd had the second one for over four years. In that time I've dropped it, moved house and put it in storage and moved it around my current house several times. It has proved to be very sturdy and reliable (when the dog doesn't get it!!). As long as I have worked in my current job we have had the same “answer phone” as it was a simple to use model I bought one for my home as well. Having always come home to have missed a phone call I thought I needed an answering machine. The old system was the BT one whereby when you picked the phone up the dial tone would suggest you had a message. I wanted something more reliable though because I kept forgetting to check for messages every time I went out and the phone didnt tell me I had a message. The BT Response 75 is a very handy answering machine because the buttons are all wuite chunky and it is well laid out.
