I am a sucker for a bargain; I love nothing more than raking through charity stores, carboot sales and those special shops dedicated to low price items. Towards the end of last year, I took a trup to 'B&M Bargains' for the first time, and was truly amazed! I've been back to various B&M stores on several occasions since, and you simply all must know about the chain! About the Store I understand that not everybody cares about the backgrounds etc of stores, so if this is not for you then you have my permission to skip this section. Since some find it fascinating however, I thought I'd include a ... more

I have been a big fan of B & M stores since they built one up the road from me, I go there now once a month when I go do my monthly shop at Iceland which is just next door. I do not always need to buy things when I go to look, but you can guarantee I will always buy something that I find is a great bargain. They sell that many different things you are guaranteed not to walk out empty handed. What they sell Health and Beauty -------------------------- They sell a wide range of health and beauty products which include deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, make up, was strips, the list really is ... more

B&Ms is a bargain store similar to that of Home Bargains. The company was formed in 1976 and it's first store was opened in Blackpool. There are currently 190 B&M stores employing over 5000 staff and there are stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales. *Where* B&M stores are most likely to be found in retail parks and on the outskirts of towns. *Products* B&Ms sells a wide range of products at discount prices. They also sell end of line products and overstocks from other stores. Health and Beauty - this is an extensive section within the store and includes various bath, makeup and skincare ... more

(Dont take the title too seriously!) I’ve never seen one of these down South so after seeing the signs several times up here in Manchester I was extremely nosy to see what these Northern places were. They've actually been going for over 30 years and have 280 stores around the country, although I wouldn’t say many down South, the nearest to Bristol for example is in Trowbridge, and the nearest to London is in Slough whilst in Manchester we have at least 5. My first impression was just that of a warehouse which is what the one in Gorton, Manchester looks like. I did think it was a DIY store at ... more

B&M is a retail chain of discount warehouse-type stores. There is only one that's local to me and it is on a retail park next to matalan and argos etc, it's single storyed and it's huge! I first discovered the shop at the start of last year after my friend dragged me there rambling about how great it is and i've been bargain hunting there regulary ever since! I think the main attraction is that it has a car boot/junk shop atmosphere to it, and i almost always find atleast one bargain whenever i go. It sells pretty much everything; garden furniture, barbeques, tv stands, trampolines, makeup ... more

B&M Stores Introduction My first experience of B&M was on a family trip to Cleveley’s, near Blackpool. We used to go there a lot on our weekly trips to Lancaster when there was a lovely little fair ground for children and a gorgeous fish and chip shop, but my biggest pull was from B&M, a huge shop with a bright blue and orange sign. As an old teenager (around 17-19), it was brilliant to buy “cheap” alcohol, and to get a good mix of different things which you cannot get elsewhere! But before I was old enough to be interested in alcohol, I did my Christmas shopping there with my pocket money ... more

I would like to mention sales assistant STEVIE at the BATHGATE store for his help when me and my wife were looking for information on the purchase of the last 2 Jack & Jill garden chairs and tables in the store 1 was on display and the other in a damaged box, STEVIE promptly dismantled the display unit while I placed the contents of the damaged package which STEVIE had checked to make sure all parts were there, into our trolley, furthermore STEVIE secured us an extra discount on both items, all the while being courteous and smiling. If there was a ten star rating STEVIE would merit it we will ... more
