Its creamy but it doesn't half smell

AdvantagesIt goes a long way

DisadvantagesIt stinks

"I’ve got the bug again and when I get it there’s no hope for anyone else in the house. It all started a couple of months ago with itchy feet and insatiable desires, perhaps you have experienced this. There is only one cure – get decorating! - BACKGROUND - I must admit to a rather sad addiction of watching all the DIY shows on telly (I’m only saying this cos I feel I know you many of you – I wouldn’t tell anyone ..." Half the price but justs as good quality

AdvantagesWith Kitchen a nd bathroom paint it is more durable

DisadvantagesSomeone has to apply it to the walls

"...to try again! Well my local B&Q actually helped make my decision in trying them by having a half price sale on all of their home brand paints so i had to go along and see what they could offer! 1. The Kitchen and Bathroom paint is cheaper than Crown or Dulux but is the same quality. 2. Having paid extreme amounts for both Crown and Dulux before, I have not found it to be that special. 3. The colour range provided by B&Q is excellent 4. As ..." Read review

Fantastic stuff!

Advantageseasy to use, brilliant results

Disadvantagescan take a couple of days to finish the job

"I recently bought a flat and inherited a bathroom that is only one year older than me. Being an early 70's flat the bath and toilet are really attractive dark terracotta brown, and the sink is white. The tiles that were around the shower area were a light brown with yellow flower and the paint was chipping off. A fairly large area of the walls were tiled and it would be an enormous job to retile. Particularly if you're not that experienced at DIY ..." Read review

we are very happy with it

Advantagesgood coverage

"...new kitchen walls with …… B&Q bathroom and kitchen paint. We have used B&Q paint before and found it very goods. Now the new walls are plastered in the kitchen we decided to use B&Q bathroom and kitchen paint. This paint comes in a fairly good range of colours .So after buying and trial painting several trial size pots at 80p each we decided to go for soft cream on the wall that faces the windows (reflects the light makes room lighter) ..." Whiter than white

AdvantagesGood price, good quality

Disadvantagesnone apparent yet

"...bathroom to be repainted. We used B&Q Kitchen and Bathroom paint - in white. It is only available in Satin Finish. At c. £10 per 2.5 l pot it seemed good value for money. My experience with it was a lot better that with the B&Q coloured emulsion (see my other review). It says its hard-wearing, moisture resistant and had an anti-mould ingredient. I can confirm the first two points, for the latter, come back in a year's time. The paint went on ..." Read review

washable walls

Advantagesgreat paint

"B&Q kitchen and bathroom paint is absolutley fantastic, it costs £12.99 for a 2.5liter tub which is more than big enough to cover a kitchen or bathroom of a decent size or if like me you have a very small kitchen and bathroom one tin will do both. This paint is available in about 30 different colours which means there will be something to suite everyones tastes, it is a very thick paint so there is very little mess from drips when applying it to ..." B&Q bathroom and kitchen paint

Advantagesgood value for money

Disadvantagessometimes a couple of coats are required for good coverage

"I have used this paint on my recently refitted bathroom and also more recently in my kitchen above my worksurfaces and sink areas. It comes in a variety of colours and sizes but is designed specifically to be used in damp or moist areas which are likely to come into contact with water. This paint is excellent in my bathroom and its mould resistant formula has prevented any mildew build up around my window and in the corner of my walls which are painted ..." Read review
