We got this book for free from our health visitor as part of the Bookstart set of books for babies. She gave us the pack when my baby was 6 months of age however my daughter has only recently begun to appreciate being read to and looking at pictures in books, at 10 months old. But all babies are different of course, and there is evidence that reading to them from any age no matter how young they are can aid with their learning in the future. Disadvantages shame it isn't coated with plastic to make it more wipe clean
e were given this books by our Health Visitor when my youngest daughter had a check up. It was through a scheme called Bookstart. Bookstart is a national scheme which aims to get children and their parents reading from as early an age as possible. The scheme provides children with a free pack when they are under a year, then again at 18-30 months and 3-4 years. Peepo Baby! is written by Georgie Birkett.
