With an RRP of £19.99 I only actually paid a partial £12.99 for these and as they were quite cheap they seemed to fit the bill in case I was to lose them on holiday. I've had these babyliss hair straightners over three years now and they aren't very good. I bought them because they were the cheapest pair I could find ebay. They don't get hot enough to make hair really straight. I have to go over the same bits of hair multiple times to get it almost straight and after that it doesnt get any straighter. I purchased these irons because my GHD's needed repairing and in view of the fact that my hair gets a bit out of control I couldn't really go with the natural look for a possible 2 weeks. Since I was not prepared to pay a lot for a pair of temporary irons I decided these would be a good idea. I do have thick naturally curly hair that can get a bit wild especially with damp or humid weather (a bit like Monica in friends when she went to Barbados - not very sexy) so maybe these are ok if you have thinner hair that doesn't take much work??
