Advantages: portable, powerful, relaxing massage Disadvantages: none I can see
...by indulging yourself in a Babyliss ‘Body Benefits’ Bath Spa. Unlike most spas which have to be built in at huge expense, the Babyliss Spa is completely portable and has a price to match. ‘Ooh-er – I don’t like the sound of electricity and water together!’ I hear you say.
(It’s a loud BANG, isn’t it??)
No need to worry, the folks at Babyliss have thought of that!
Power comes from a safety transformer ... ...a serious mischief!
The Babyliss Bath Spa will turn any old bath into an ‘event’. Add a few drops of essential oils or some bubble bath and the experience will be all the sweeter. Bubble bath seems to last for ages with a spa which makes it even more fun for the children in the family! It is perfectly safe to use for children, although they recommend that the hand-held attachment is not used, mainly so that the water stays in the bath! ...

Advantages: Makes your bath that little bit more luxurious Disadvantages: Noisy and not as powerful as expected
I was given one of these for Christmas after months of pestering and I really don't know what I was so excited about!
The bath spa attaches by suction pads to the side of the bath. A cable runs to the mains which has a safety plug (with transformer and circuit breaker) which you can test before you run your bath. This can be annoying as most people don't have plug sockets in their bathrooms and so you have wires trailing across the floor.
Run your ... ...the big button on the top of the spa. The unit has adjustable, dual nozzles to direct the flow of water and options for creating bubbly or swirly water (although I can't really tell the difference between the two). The Bath Spa fits most standard baths. The bath spa aims to turn your bath into a whirlpool/jacuzzi; the movement of the water massaging your skin. It is very relaxing, although the side of you lying closest to the unit gets most of the ...

Advantages: a nice sensation, relaxing Disadvantages: Nothing like a real spa
I bought the Babylis Bath Spa for myself as a present. It was coming up to Christmas time and I had just given birth to my daughter. I gave birth in under 3 hours with no pain relief and no noise (so my husband says - I wasn't aware of what was going on!) and so I felt I deserved a bit of pampering. We couldn't really afford it, what with a new born baby an all, but I thought "well why not", it is not everyday you give birth to a beautiful bundle ... ...back to the car, with my daughter sleeping soundly in a sling in front of me. When I got it home I unpacked it excitedly and got ready for that scintillating bath experience. Unfortunately, it was at this point that my daughter awoke. It was quite some time later when I eventually got the opportunity to try out my new toy.
The Babylis Bath Spa is a device which sucks up the water in your bath and then squirts it forcibly out of a filtered section ...

Advantages: a nice idea Disadvantages: doesn't really do anything
Right Babyliss bath spa....where shall I begin? With the cost I think. Really expensive even when you buy them in Argos or Index. The prices start from £44.50 for the basic model through to the cordless model for £66. I have the one in the middle identical to the cordless but with a cord! It cost me £55 from the Littlewoods catalogue.
The unit
The unit is a fairly bulky contraption that hangs over the side of your bath tub. You fill your bath with ... ...long lead into the power transformer supplied and plug into the nearest mains socket. (a very long lead is supplied so it is able to stretch into another room where there is a power supply).
A nice idea
The unit has two water outlets which lie under the water line swirling the water around the a tub creating a jacuzzi in your own bath. There is a slider switch on top of the unit in which one can select a swirl of water or bubbles. There is a light ...

...out and bought me the Babyliss bath spa.
This brilliant gadget simply fits over the edge of your bath and farts into the bath water for you.
You can set it to give you a relaxing ripple or to give you the maximum flatulence effect; whichever suits your needs at the time.
It comes complete with a hose attachment that you can use to reach otherwise unreachable areas, (I wont go into details). Suffice to say that if your better half is feeling nice ... ...asking for trouble!
Well the Babyliss bath spa comes complete with a safety transformer, a long lead and full instructions on how to test the safety cut off switch prior to each use, so nyer.
A word of warning though, never put large amounts of bubble bath in before turning on the spa, I did this and went to fetch a towel before going into the bath, when I returned the bubbles were meeting me at the bathroom door. After my wife gently chastised ...

I recently purchased this equipment to be able to have a nice relaxing soak and ease my back trouble. This bath spa is fitted with a special circuit breaker which is designed to cut off the mains if a fault occurs. The unit comes with a detachable water jet massage fitment which can let the water be directly aimed at a particular point on the body. To use this attachment hold the nozzle about 1" or 2" away from the area of your body to be massaged ... ...water can be aimed direct. To use the bath spa, you have to fit the unit over the rim of the bath side, making sure the pump is inside the bath and the fastening arm rests on the edge. There are 2 suction pads. One fits on the inside of the bath and the other fits on the edge. Slightly moisten the suction pads for added adhesion. The bath tub can then be filled to the required depth, making sure the water level reaches the "fill" line on the unit. ...

Advantages: Pure relaxation Disadvantages: Where to plug it in
The Babyliss Bath spa is an excellent compromise if you dream of having your own Jacuzzi with the ease of being able to remove it when you want to.
If you are feeling tired and in need of a little tender loving care there is nothing more relaxing than a warm bubbling bath with a glass of your favourite alcoholic beverage and a few candles. I must admit though on the first few occasions that I used it I got carried away with the bubble bath and soon ... ...use bubble bath but the quantity needs to be reduced considerably.
The items sits neatly on the side of the bath and is powered by a transformer. The only problem with that is where to plug it in as plug sockets are not fitted in bathrooms. Nevertheless the inconvenience of a little wire running across the floor is nothing compared to the relaxation benefits of the bath spa. This is a must for anyone that has more than the natural amount fof stress ...

Advantages: you could soak for hours, Disadvantages: but the water gets cold!
It's bath night, you've got a bottle of wine, some smelly candles, your favourite music playing on the sterio....... What you need is a jacuzzi! Now, I know most of you haven't got the built-in one yet(*grins*), but this little baby might just be the thing for you! This is really good.
When ever I feel tired and stressed I turn my bath-tub into a spa with this little gadget.
It just attaches to the side of your bath and you can select how much power you want it on.
It sometimes is a bit noisy but its not so loud it would stop you relaxing.
There are a few wires and cables and stuff but there not to bad and the whole thing isnt to bad to work out how to use.
Light candles and put on some music(you wont ... ...relax all night long.
Its very powerfull and if you put it on top speed the bubbles are really good and the bath seems to vibrate.
Its never broke and I have had it for a while So its hard wearing too.
You should get one if you love relaxing in a spa and want to be able to change you bath tub into one whenever you want.
You can buy them from most places,i got mine from Boots.

I got my Babyliss two christmas's ago from my fiance after I harped on and on that I wanted one. It is neat and compact and small enough to keep in a drawer in the bathroom and the long cord makes it perfect for running it two the nearest power point.
