I purchased these straighteners as a gift for my daughter, from Argos for just £17.09 in their sale. Glad I did, as mine decided to stop working on Boxing Day, and she kindly let me borrow them to do my hair!!
I have fine fly away hair, and find that my hair doesn't straighten too easily, unless I use a ton of product. Even then it tends to lose it's straightness after a while.
Upon using these new straighteners, I was pleased to find that they ... ...easy to use.
The adjustable temperature meant that I could set it at a Medium heat, although it was originally set to High and got too hot for me to use!!
I found that when using them as a cordless straightener, getting them in and out of the base was fiddly when you were trying to hold a section of hair at the same time, but I eventually got the knack of it. The base does have rubber suckers which would offer some support if you had a surface ...

My b/f bought me some GHD straightners for my birthday, and for all the money he paid for them it was a total waste. I got these at a bargain price and they are perfect for people with thick frizzy hair like my self, They have a temperature control on them so u can choose how high you like them, try not to have them on the highest setting as they get very hot. The cordless option is perfect if u are in a rush and cant stand in front of the mirror ... ...so the heat is constant. Gone are the days of me straightening my hair for hours on end, i have mine done in less than ten minutes and the result is shiney poker staight hair, and i dont have to keep re-starightening my hair everyday as it lasts and stays looking sleek, GREAT PRODUCT. I have recomended to 4 friends now. ...

Advantages: Temperature goes up to 230 degrees so works just as well as most of the top brands in the market Disadvantages: Quite big
...I would definately recommend the babyliss total freedom 230 to anyone as I feel they do a really great job, they're suitable for all hair types and are really good value for money.
Ideal for anybody looking for some good quality hair strgihteners who doesn't want to spend too much money.
I love them and wouldn't be without them! ...
