    I started browsing the Babyworld site when I became pregnant with my daughter Emma, it was all new to me so I wanted to thoroughly research the different stages of my pregnancy, what items I would need to buy, what I could and couldnt eat and wanted further information on looking after my health. I also wanted somewhere where I could talk to other expectant mothers at the same stage of pregnancy as me so that I had someone I could relate to about any concerns I was offering.     A long time ago and I’m talking about 3 years ago there was a site based on Mother and Baby Magazine and ran by a lady called Dani Zahr (I’m sure she wouldn’t mind the mention as she was lovely and as far as I’m aware still works on Mother and Baby Magazine although it’s been a long time since I emailed her or read the magazine).     The site is informative and fun. There is plenty for every one, and a discussion forum for probably everything you can think of including, trying to conceive, product talk, relationships and sex, feeling down and budgeting to name a few of the 50 or so. I personally go on a number of the forums where you can find plenty of support for whatever might be your problem at the time or just to get some advice on products.     Why don’t they give you a handbook when you have a baby? It would save a lot of worry but as they don’t, then this is the next best thing. I first came across this sight when I discovered I was pregnant with my second child. Babyworld provides information on trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. There is a panel of experts that will answer any question that you have to do with pregnancy and childhood and it is a useful first place to go for information on childhood diseases.     Firstly I apologise the title shoudl be parents..sorry guys but as with most sites this is predominantly aimed at women (although dad's have their own spaces too).     I first discovered babyworld after seeing an advert in my bounty pack. I quickly became addicted! There is so much on this site that there's something for everyone, I will try to summarise what you can find there: Information - tons of it, about every topic from trying to conceive through pregnancy, birth, and parenting. When I found out that my second child would have to be born by c-section, babyworld was my main source of information about what to expect.     have been using the babyworld site ever since I first became pregnant with my son infact the night I went into labour I was on there from 1am to 8 am so was well informed ! The thing that first attracted me to the site was the antenatal clubs which are like forums were you meet people who are due during the same month as you, I still talk to many of the people I met on there.     This has to be the best baby site I've encountered. It's primarily aimed at parents to be and parents of under two's. As well as excellent up to date features and online shopping (quite expensive in my opinion) the site also boasts anti-natal clubs to meet (online) other mums-to-be due at the same time as you. My favourite feature by far has to be the discussion forums.     If your trying for a baby, pregnent ,new mum , old mum or anything similar then this site is wonderful and definatly for you it contains evevrything you need for whatever stage your in you can visit the shop and buy everything you need , If your pregnant you can register ( for free) and join other mums who are due in the same month as you or just register to enter the wonderful competiton they have every month, but the most popular area on babyworld has to be the discussion forums where help and advise is freely available to all about every subject to do with parenthood and a few beyond theres ... more

    When we found out we were pregnant we were soooo scared!! We looked on the internet to see what we could find. After trudging through many baby sites we came across Babyworld and stopped right there. This site is BRILLIANT it has all you need as a new or experienced parent. Great news articles, health tips and competitions. Whatever your question there is someone online to help you, midwives, health visiters even a breastfeeding expert, I have found everything I need on this site.
