~ Ooh Saucy! ~

Advantages: Delicious, good value, easy to make
Disadvantages: Sticking to the bottom of pots, - annoying to wash up!

...around about the same. Batchelors being a fairly well known brand, I'm assuming these are made readily available pretty much everywhere. OTHER VARIETIES... Yes there's even more to choose from. If you get bored with one flavour move on the next as there's a good variety in the range. The flavours I've seen are spaghetti bolognese, chicken and mushroom, macaroni, chicken and garlic, and mild cheese and brocoli, though there may be others I haven't ...
...LITTLE BIT ABOUT BATCHELORS... Batchelors is apparantly the leading brand in the UK today for foods like instant soups, canned vegetables, dry sauces, noodles and side dishes. They are known to produce recognizable items in their range such as Bigga and Mushy Peas, Cup-a-Soup, and SuperNoodles. Thanks for reading, and Bon Appetit! x majiggy x ...

PASTA N SAUCE

Advantages: wide range of different flavours, tasty, quick and easy to cook
Disadvantages: can stick to the bottom of the pot and sauce can overspill onto the microwave

I really love pasta dishes, I normally make my own pasta or rice meals from scratch; but sometimes I really don't have the time nor energy to do so all the time. When I don't really feel like preparing a meal from scratch I normally opt for a quick fix pasta meal in a packet because they are really quick and easy to prepare and cook. There are a lot of flavoured pasta meals on the market at the moment, you can get the usual supermarkets own brands ...
...each or you can get a branded pasta meal like Batchelor's which only costs about 20 pence more than a chap supermarket branded one. I always opt for the Batchelor's pasta meals because they are available in a wider range of different flavours and most importantly Batchelor's pasta tastes a lot better as the flavours are stronger and you seem to get slightly bigger portions for your money. Batchelor's Pasta in Sauce is really easy to find in supermarkets; ...

...has a fungus phobia!)! Batchelors Pasta ‘N’ Sauce comes in a blue packet with the distinctive red and white Batchelors’ logo at the top. It features a fork full of the pasta and below that the flavour. The Pasta ‘N’ Sauce writing is in different colours depending on the flavours – Creamy Chicken and Herbs is green (probably to represent the herbs!!!). Price wise these are pretty good. I have found them on offer in ASDA – three packets for £1.50. ...
...the back of the packets, Batchelors actually give their top tip for what to do to add a bit of class to the pasta. On this one, they suggest adding spicy sausages, sweetcorn and peppers (not my cup of tea personally, but I guess some people might like it!). Other flavours include: Mushroom and Wine Chicken and Mushroom Macaroni Cheese Cheese and Broccoli I hope that you have enjoyed this review and that in the future you enjoy these gorgeous ...

Pasta 'n' Sauce the easy way!

Advantages: Is very quick and easy.
Disadvantages: Tastes a bit like chicken soup from a vending machine!

...these little miracles out. Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce; Chicken and Mushroom Flavour. Flavour. The flavour I am reviewing is Chicken and Mushroom although I have tasted the tomato and onion one too but only once. I remember being put off by the smell of the tomato one! How is it packaged? The packet is just like a big sachet packet in dark blue with a lighter star on the front containing a picture of a fork loaded with the product, creamy chicken ...
...Pasta ‘n’ Sauce emblazoned on the front with a little drip of the sauce on the letter ‘c’ which is a little detail I like. Where will I find it? In most supermarkets I got mine in Sainsbury’s they are either in the pasta aisle or with the pot snacks. I was a little confused at first because I thought they would be with the pot snacks as my other local supermarket have put it there but in Sainsbury’s they are with the pasta. Price. I did think ...

Advantages: Taste, Smell, Price
Disadvantages: Packet?

...occasional pasta fix from somewhere. Batchelors Pasta ‘N’ Sauce – mild cheese and broccoli, just one of about half a dozen flavors available including my two faves, chicken and mushroom and ham and mushroom. So what is BPNS? Well, it’s simple really, it is a packet of pasta with a flavored powder which turns into a tasty sauce when milk, water and butter is added. I am such a lazy person it’s unreal, so making myself ...
...two options I usually use. Batchelors Pasta ‘N’ Sauce – Here are my findings: ~~~~~~PACKAGING~~~~~~ The packet this stuff comes in is so basic it’s almost crap, a deep navy blue background with a large fork full of cooked pasta and the name and brand printed above and below. The back of the packet is the same but with a large cream box to house all of the product information and the slyest of sly little adverts at the ...

Saucy Batchelors

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: You might forget about it at the back of your cupboard

...‘lazy’ stuff. ~~The Product~~ Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, 116g. I got mine on special offer of 2 for 99p or buy one get one free. Usually they are between 60p and £1, depending on where you shop. It is quite a striking blue packet as ‘Pasta ‘n’ Sauce is written in large white letters, outlined with a corresponding colour; with a picture of a fork loaded with the particular variety of pasta on it. You have ...

Batchelors Pasta and Sauce - Macaroni Cheese This review will be based specifically on the Macaroni Cheese flavour. There are a selection of flavours available: Chicken and Mushroom Tomato, Onion and Herbs Cheese, Leek and Ham Mushroom and Wine Broccoli and Cheese Personally I only buy the Macaroni Cheese version because I tried the Broccoli and Cheese version once and it was disgusting. The powder that forms the sauce was stuck in all the ...
...The Packaging Batchelors packaging is very similar for their Pasta N Sauce and their Instant Noodles and they are easy to find in the supermarket. It comes in a reasonably sized dark blue sachet, with the Batchelors red logo at the top of the front, and a picture of what the pasta should look like. The Macaroni version has pink accents, this is a different colour for each flavour. The pack weight is 108g. Its priced at 78p in Tesco at the moment ...

Beware what's lurking in your trolley

Advantages: cheap, tastes good, quick to cook
Disadvantages: out of a packet, lazy cook

...items in the past was Batchelors Pasta n Sauce - Mushroom and red wine flavour. I have no idea how this managed to travel home with me as I don’t normally buy anything in the form of dried food in a packet, purely because in the past when having tried these sorts of food I have found them all to be either tasteless or rubbery in texture. I’ve got a funny feeling it was the word “wine” on the front of the packet that acted as the magnet. So what ...
...but in line with other Batchelors products. Dark blue backgrounds with pictures of product. Not very exciting but does it really need to be? Does it do what it claims? It claims to feed one as a snack and two as part of a main meal. I used to eat this as a snack eons ago and I just about managed to finish a bowl full, and it did provide a generous bowl full. I wouldn’t call it a snack as I used to eat it as a quick dinner when in a rush. For two ...

...products however would swear by Batchelors Pasta n Sauce. I have tried several varieties of this product however have decided that the tastiest version is Mild Cheese and Broccoli flavour. ...a home cooked meal too. Batchelors have provided a tip on the packaging in which they recommend adding cooked chopped bacon and dried herbs to compliment this product. Tasty Filling Snack or Meal

Advantages: Tastes good, quick and easy to prepare, cheap

...I have been eating Batchelors Pasta n Sauces for many years now since an old friend introduced me to them! There are loads of different flavours; Chicken & Mushroom, Cheese, Leek & Ham, Macaroni Cheese, Mild Cheese * Broccoli, Tomato & Herb and Chicken & Roasted Garlic. Advantages: Good alternative to Junk Food after the pub!
Disadvantages: Can be a bit chewy if you get it wrong!

...flavours were more varied though. Batchelors do state that they don't make this product for anyone else - this is plainly obvious because I am yet to find a decent substitute! Before you buy the product it's worth checking a few things - there aren't the usual warnings on this product about allergies etc but there is a phone number you can call: 0845 6010222 to check for spiteful ingredients. Obviously the prime bad guy is wheat - this stuff is ...
...have a Hob or Microwave - a kettle won't do so if taking it on holiday/on your travels ensure you will be able to heat it up! Hot Water, Butter and milk are recommended to reconstitute the sauce - I only use water. Does it damage your wallet? Depends where you buy it! I've seen them for as much as 70p at service stations but at supermakets they tend to cost 65p or less if on special offer which they often are. My Stash: In my cupboard amongst ...

Little Italy

Advantages: Quick and easy to cook
Disadvantages: Can stick if you do not stir it.

When my eldest daughter first had her braces fitted on her teeth, she was in rather a lot of pain and we needed to find something tasty and soft for her to eat. That was about 8 years ago and we are still buying this product today. We took a stroll round Tesco and found `Batchelors` Pasta n Sauce. It comes in several flavours with Chicken and Mushroom being our favourite. This Op however, is about the Cheese, Leek and Ham flavoured variety. Another ...

Pasta n sauce So, it's day four of the slimming world diet and I'm doing well, eating good food and feeling. Positive. THE PRODUCT Is made by bachelors which is a very well known brand, they have been around for years and are more well known for their soups. This is pasta ...
