Advantages: Deliciously creamy, totally yummy, festive and fun. Disadvantages: Hugely fattening and sickly if you drink too much.
Baileys Irish Cream. I'm sure you've heard of it, a fabulous whiskey liqueur made with loads of cream. It's a satin lovers delight which is (if you know me) why I love it so!
If you have never tried Baileys then I hope I can tempt your senses. Baileys is akin to the insides as wearing satin skimpies (knicks, nighties, satin lined skirts) or frolicking about on satin sheets. If you've never worn satin and can't afford the sheets, then just try some ... ...Baileys, that's my mottto!
Baileys Liqueur
Born in 1974, in deepest Dublin, Baileys was the first cream liqueur of its kind. It was a pretty instant success but has grown in popularity over the years. Around 150 000 bottles are now produced on a daily basis and it is the world's best selling liqueur which surprises me a little as there are also loads of cheap imitations. Personally, I just cannot bring myself to buy the cheaper brands in case they ...

Advantages: Very Versatile Disadvantages: The number of evil calories
...The greatest thing about Baileys is that once it has been opened, if it is stored correctly i.e. not in direct sunlight because the cream will curdle, it will last for 24 months, so there is no need to drink your way through a whole bottle the second it is open. Bailey’s is a lovely thick texture and is very chocolaty in colour, renowned as a ‘girlie’ drink by my male friends; I can assure you they love it just as much as I do. ... ...later, but for now…
Baileys is very versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. Cocktails are one example. Baileys is used in various drinks, for example:
(1) B52 – A shot guaranteed to get you drunk rather quickly if you drink lots of them. It contains 1 shot of Grand Marnier, one shot of Bailey’s and one shot of Kahula and for those people who are pedantic, one shot is 35ml. To make this you simple add the ingredients as ...

...of Ireland first released their Baileys Irish Cream onto the market, and it has gone from strength to strength, even now being available in varieties (mint chocolate (award winning in 2008), crème caramel, coffee). It's quite often on offer, Tescos are currently offering a bottle for just £9 when you spend £30 in store! I find that one bottle lasts me a long while, at least 4 months. Each litre bottle contains 17 units, but I can't figure out if that is meant to imply that there are 17 servings per bottle, or what. With Christmas coming up there are loads of different Baileys gift sets ...

...be a nice glass of Baileys with ice. Mmmmn lovely! Baileys is the original Irish Cream alcoholic drink. Baileys is made from fresh Irish cream, the finest spirits and Irish whiskey. These three ingredients blended together make a really sweet and tasty drink, with the spirits and whiskey giving it a real kick. The taste of the alcohol is really evident, but doesn't over-power the drink. Some spirits have a tendancy to leave a burning sensation at ... ...One problem I find with Baileys is that it is easy to forget that it is alcoholic sometimes, as the flavour is really sweet and chocolately. Baileys is actually 17% alc/vol so is stronger than you think, so you may want to keep an eye on how much of it you are drinking or you will regret it the next morning! I know this is a mistake I have made in the past! The Baileys itself is quite a thick, creamy liquid. The colour of the liquid is similar to ...

BAILEYS IRISH CREAM is not normally a drink I would drink, but you know how it is at Crimbo, you rummage around in your stockings and have a feel at the goodies (or is that just me?). And lo and behold, there's always a bottle of something-or-other from someone-or-other cunningly wrapped in a long, slim gift-bag that possibly cost more than the contents. Advantages: Delicious, Creamy and Unique Disadvantages: A bit expensive, easy to over indulge
Baileys Irish Cream is a drink that I occasionally drink and one of the reasons why I make sure that I drink it occasionally is because of its ability in luring you into a false sense of security whilst drinking it. The taste is very unlike other liqueurs. This is mainly due to the fact that Baileys consists of 50% of dairy cream. Baileys was launched in 1974 and today 1,600 glasses of Baileys are consumed every minute of every day. Wow!!! Baileys ... ...these are not compatible together. Baileys have managed this without using any additives or preservatives and providing a drink that is utterly and totally unique. My favourite way of having Baileys is with plenty of ice. It tastes a lot better when totally chilled. My wife prefers it straight but chilled. Another way of having this lovely drink is to mix it with piping hot coffee. This is a lot better than the usual Irish coffee. One of the elements ...

...that drink to get drunk. Baileys cream, albeit a liquor is really more of a pleasure drink than a drink to get drunk with (Don't be fooled though this drink can turn on you!)
Combine some fresh cream, some triple-distilled whiskey (of the Irish variety) and add some additional ‘Irish spirits’ and voila, you have yourself a very popular drink – Irish Baileys Cream.

Baileys is not really a hard liquor measuring in at only 34% proof – however, those who call it a boys drink are in for a surprise. The subtleties of the drink and the enjoyment of it cause you to keep on drinking. Thus although you will not initially get drunk, this subtle drink will creep up on you and crack you over the head!

Baileys Irish Cream is a liqueur made from fresh cream, triple-distilled Irish whiskey, ‘finest Irish spirits’ (to quote their own marketing department) and natural flavourings. Although I am a total whiskey-hater, I absolutely love this drink. Not surprising when you consider that one half of a bottle of Baileys is fresh cream. Not surprisingly, then, it’s pretty heavy on the calories, with a 37.5 ml serving (i.e. a typical pub measure) coming in at a whopping 117 cals and 15% fat. But is it worth it! Baileys is often drunk on its own or, as I prefer it, over ice. Being a liqueur it was originally ...

15.38 for 1 litre
4.98 for 4 minis which are 70mls each
