I love this drink, and I mean LOVE it. From the first sip I am in heaven. Baileys poured over ice in a glass – yummmmmmmmmmmm! It is a pure indulgence drink, and you definitely could not drink it every day, but as a treat or on special occasions – I say “Go on, treat yourself!” Even if you are not a big fan of alcohol, this drink is simply wonderful! It flows smoothly down your throat and leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy instead! Magnificent! So what is this little piece of heaven in earth Baileys is the perfect blend of premium Irish cream, the finest spirits, Irish whiskey and a special ... more

Advantages Advantages Deliciously creamy, totally yummy, festive and fun.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hugely fattening and sickly if you drink too much.

Baileys Irish Cream. I'm sure you've heard of it, a fabulous whiskey liqueur made with loads of cream. It's a satin lovers delight which is (if you know me) why I love it so! If you have never tried Baileys then I hope I can tempt your senses. Baileys is akin to the insides as wearing satin skimpies (knicks, nighties, satin lined skirts) or frolicking about on satin sheets. If you've never worn satin and can't afford the sheets, then just try some Foamburst in the shower instead (Imperial Leather shower gel ->foam). Love satin, love Baileys, that's my mottto! Advantages Advantages Very Versatile

Disadvantages Disadvantages The number of evil calories

Bailey’s has to be one of my favourite drinks ever. Not only does it taste really nice, but it gets you very drunk very quickly and tastes delicious. Ive always got copious amounts of alcohol in my alcofrol cupboard (note to people that’s a deliberate spelling mistake for emphasis factor only) and currently it is stocked with three HUGE bottles of Bailey’s, which various people have given me as presents…im easily pleased! (“,) History (“,) Bailey’s has been around since 1974 and was born in the lovely Irish town of Dublin. Celebrating its 30th Birthday ... more

Hands up anyone who has never heard of Baileys... None, thought not. How about the adverts with the gorgeous women kissing a bloke and him having to figure out which it was – the one with the creamy kiss was the one holding the Baileys? Yep, thought you'd all have seen them, too. **History** In 1974, Gilbeys of Ireland first released their Baileys Irish Cream onto the market, and it has gone from strength to strength, even now being available in varieties (mint chocolate (award winning in 2008), crème caramel, coffee). The name Baileys is accredited to Andrew Bailey of the R.A. Bailey Company ... more

Advantages Advantages Tastes great, makes a really refreshing tipple

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite expensive & easy to drink too much!!

Most of us little a nice tipple at home now and again to relax us, and my favourite has to be a nice glass of Baileys with ice. Mmmmn lovely! Baileys is the original Irish Cream alcoholic drink. Baileys is made from fresh Irish cream, the finest spirits and Irish whiskey. These three ingredients blended together make a really sweet and tasty drink, with the spirits and whiskey giving it a real kick. The taste of the alcohol is really evident, but doesn't over-power the drink. Some spirits have a tendancy to leave a burning sensation at the back of the throat, such is its strength, but with ... more

Advantages Advantages um ... it's creamy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Too sweet and sickly

BAILEYS IRISH CREAM is not normally a drink I would drink, but you know how it is at Crimbo, you rummage around in your stockings and have a feel at the goodies (or is that just me?). And lo and behold, there's always a bottle of something-or-other from someone-or-other cunningly wrapped in a long, slim gift-bag that possibly cost more than the contents. Being thought of as a bit of a 'jakey' - quite erroneously, as it happens - I am usually inundated with all sorts of alcoholic treats. (It's a sair fecht!) I have a theory that certain bottles of liqueurs and wines never actually get drunk ... more

Advantages Advantages Delicious, Creamy and Unique

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit expensive, easy to over indulge

Baileys Irish Cream is a drink that I occasionally drink and one of the reasons why I make sure that I drink it occasionally is because of its ability in luring you into a false sense of security whilst drinking it. The taste is very unlike other liqueurs. This is mainly due to the fact that Baileys consists of 50% of dairy cream. Baileys was launched in 1974 and today 1,600 glasses of Baileys are consumed every minute of every day. Wow!!! Baileys consists of a combination of dairy cream and Irish whiskey and additional spirits and natural flavours. This combination of whiskey and cream is one ... more

Advantages Advantages Great relaxing drink, ideal for mixing

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can get you drunk!

There are two types of drinkers (in my opinion), those that drink for pleasure and those that drink to get drunk. Baileys cream, albeit a liquor is really more of a pleasure drink than a drink to get drunk with (Don't be fooled though this drink can turn on you!) Combine some fresh cream, some triple-distilled whiskey (of the Irish variety) and add some additional ‘Irish spirits’ and voila, you have yourself a very popular drink – Irish Baileys Cream. There are many people around the world who are instantly turned off by this combination because of the simple word ... more

    Advantages Advantages Delicious, Versatile

Baileys Irish Cream is a liqueur made from fresh cream, triple-distilled Irish whiskey, ‘finest Irish spirits’ (to quote their own marketing department) and natural flavourings. Although I am a total whiskey-hater, I absolutely love this drink. First produced in 1974, it is now the world’s biggest seller of its type, and 1600 glasses of the stuff are consumed EVERY MINUTE worldwide! So how does it taste? The whiskey taste is actually quite subtle, though still distinctively there, and it blends beautifully with the cream to give a smooth but still punchy taste. The over ... more
