The Bare Minerals range is a recent discovery for me but one that I'm really glad I made as I absolutely love their foundation. The mineral veil came in my starter pack with the foundation and is a finishing powder designed to be worn over your foundation.
Bare Minerals launched their first foundation in 1976, so it's not exactly a new product, just one that has only really become popular lately. Their selling point is that all their products are ... ...the lid is pretty difficult! Bare Escensuals do recommend that you use their own Kabuki brush to apply and while this does sound like a con, I have actually found that it makes a big difference as it seems to absorb the powder far better than other brushes I've used this with. It's also important taht you do follow the advice to tap the product into the lid, as the material used in the lid helps to bind the powder together to help it last once applied.
