Advantages: quick, easy to cook, tasty, versatile, many flavours to choose from Disadvantages: high calorie and fat content, rubbery if cooked in microwave
Batchelor's Super Noodles are a very quick and easy meal to prepare; you can either have the Super Noodles as an accompaniment to a main meal or as a snack on their own. Every time I go shopping I always pick up a few packs of Super Noodles because they are handy to have in the cupboard for a quick fix meal especially if you get hungry and cant be bothered cooking something from scratch. The best thing about the Super Noodles is the fact that they ... ...less than 60 pence from Tesco's. In supermarkets like Tesco and ASDA you can purchase their own supermarket brand of Instant Noodles which are like an imitation of Super Noodles which cost less than 10 pence per packet, the only problem with the supermarkets instant noodles is the fact that they are only available in chicken, curry or bacon flavours and they aren't as tasty as Batchelor's Super Noodles. Some people may however choose the supermarkets ...

Batchelors Super Noodles ==================== The less you eat whilst working nights the better. So as a long time shift worker these are just perfect. Until a few weeks ago you could pick up 3 packets for a £1 at Tescos but now they have hiked up the price to 3 for £1.20. A 20% increase! They come in several flavours; Barbecue Beef (Very Tasty), Mild Curry (V.T), Chicken (V.T), Thai Curry (V.T), Spicy Salsa (V.T), Southern Fried Chicken (V.T). Bacon ... ...Sweet and Sour (Bland), Balti (Bland), Tex Mex (Bland), The taste varies and there are some that I found Very Tasty, Plain to quite Bland but in general most of the various flavours are very tasty. Cooking them could not be simpler, Just open the packet, pop it in a pan with a mug of water and cook until the consistency is too your liking. Ignore the exact measurement on the packet (4 minutes) as I personally find this makes the Noodles very runny. ...

Super noodles are one of those foods that people generally think of as a food for students or as the sort of thing you would take camping. It could be said that Pot Noodle is Super noodles biggest rival but personally I don’t think they can be compared; Super Noodles win every time for me and their not just a snack food either. The noodles are great as a quick snack because they cook very quickly but they can also be served as part of a main meal. I’m not the World’s greatest cook by any means but I do like to experiment in the kitchen to see what I can create. Though in some cases this ends in disaster, I usually manage to create a tasty meal but it can be very time consuming. When I’m short ...

Ok, you may have guessed from the title what I am having for lunch today.... yes i'm having super noodles.

To do this you will need 1/2 pint (300ml) of boiling water, place this in a pan with the noodles then once the water has come back to the boil you add the contents of the flavour sachet.
Reduce the heat and simmer the noodles for approximately 4 minutes or until the noodles have absorbed the water. Stir occasionally.
Your noodles are now ready to eat - yum!

You know the ones - with the funny ads that seem to aim for the student market. They are cheap at around 44p per packet (dependent where you’re shopping), which makes for easy additions to meals or as a snack. They are dead easy to prepare – pop into a pan with 300ml boiling water, bring back to the boil, add the sachet of powder, mix well, and then simmer until the water has all but disappeared. For me – combine with a couple of slices of bread, and that’s dinner out of the way when you really, rally can't be ar*sed! But, they really should have stuck ...
