On June 23, Battlefield: Bad Company will officialy be released. The game is classed as a first-person shooter with a difference. Using the Frostbite game engine allows 90% of the environment to be destroyed, including buildings, vegetation, vehicles, and even the ground itself, and more. The game features both a single-player and multi-player modes, each using the Frostbite engine to it's full potential.

Obviously with destructable ... ...likes of Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms, each with similar gameplay. The only real game to ever feature fully destructable environments was Red Faction a few years back (although there is currently a new version in the making), however due to the sheer lack of power in a PS2 compared to a next-gen console such as the 360 or the PS3, it was never quite as good. As far as the actual fighting goes, the game is, in my opinion, better than Call of ...

Advantages: fun good humoured game Disadvantages: very basic plot.
Bad Company is refreshing in many ways, one great advantage is that it doesn't try and take itself too seriously. It seems that those who have made it have done their very best to concentrate on fun. Gameplay:
The controls are much like any other first person shooter, they are simple and easy to get used to. It is fast paced and flows nicely. Even if you find yourself riddled with bullets you simply respawn seconds later a little way from the action. ... ...if you are spawned a little too far away. The other downside is you respawn with what ever ammo you had when you died, which if it is very low, leads to a lot more death. It was very fun to play with many humorous moments, with entertaining characters ( i will get to later). It's biggest downfall, if it is to be considered one, is that it is not entirely gripping, it is not the sort of game that leaves you wanting to play constantly. There is a large ...

...to the console market with Battlefield: Modern Combat in 2005 (total rubbish game but thats another story) Now the developers DICE (Based in Sweden) have come up with bad company. This is a new area which the war game producers haven't really explored before. With a whole new platform for gaming and never really before used humour in Battlefield. You play as private Preston Marlowe and join the company at the start of the game. You meet your squad which consists of Private Terrence Sweetwater who is really a computer nerd and the geek of the squad. Advantages: Brilliant multiplayer Disadvantages: Irritating AI
You play as Preston Marlow a soldier who has just been transferred to the Bad Company squad. Bad Company is filled with soldiers who are a bunch of lovable losers that have been deemed expendable by the army. Bad Company is supposedly filled with jokes and humor although they have failed to make me laugh. The game tries to distinguish itself in the FPS world by taking a light hearted approach to shooting bad guys. Early on in the game your team discover ... ...a marking on it. And it's up to your team to discover who is paying the mercenaries and get some of the gold for yourself. The singleplayer is very varied you can fly helicopters, call in mortar strikes and drive tanks to name a few. Although there is no co-op feature, which is a shame but the singleplayer is still entertaining. A running theme in the singleplayer seems to be destructibility; just about everything from buildings to sandbanks can ...

Battlefield: Bad Company on the Xbox 360 is an awesome game.
the singleplayer story is interesting and fun to play and it can get pretty difficult in some areas of the story making it a challenge to play through.
the multiplayer is in a class of it's own with plenty of maps to fight on the ability to drive vehicles from humvees to tanks, helicopters and boats not to mention placement weapons too.
there are plenty of weapons for you to choose from ... ...rank increases.
you will have a choice of five classes of soldier to choose from whatever you choose if you get killed in game you can switch to a different class if you want or keep the one you chose.
the classes are all very different and have their own bonus weapons for instance a sniper has a laser tageting system whereas an assault soldier has a healing injection which heals you instantly.
there is loads of playability in this game and the ...

This game so far is going to be Top Fav. of mine. After putting countless hours in to the Xbox Live Demo, Running through the single player campaign, and destroying everything in my way online, Ive come to the conclusion that this game may be the Call of Duty killer. I've always loved the battlefield series. I never really had a nice enough computer to run the past games but 1942 and others have always had a place in my heart on my friends computers. ... ...when i really fell for the game. Now dice has stepped it up a few notches and just made this game gold, literally. The Destruction effects are great. Theres nothing like busting through an outer wall of a small town with an Abrams tank and laying waste to everyone and everything. The lag with the online multiplayer can get slightly bad but hopefully when the retail version comes out we won't have to worry about that issue. I really like the online ...

In the new battlefield bad company you play Preston Marlow , a convicted felon but the governments army's are running low on soldiers and instead of sending him to jail he is put on the front lines in a battalion called bad company. Bad company is a mix of felons and rejects and are basically used as cannon fodder. The controls of the game take a little getting used to for someone who is new to the battle field games but once you have mastered them ... ...since any games developer came out with an FPS (first person shooter) that had a campaign mode that was actually hard. Battlefield bad company is the first in ages! Campaign mode is hard!!! When you compare battlefield with other great FPS's such as call of duty 4 it is clear that there is something missing but im not sure what?? Call of duty 4 just has that little edge. The games designers have tried to make up for this missing element by sharpening ...

Quick review of Battlefield: Bad Company (Xbox 360)
Battlefield: Bad Company is a realistic first person shooter that offers a different experience than call of duty 4.
The game features a series of missions such as stealing gold crates, blowing up brindges and much more.
Unlike call of duty however, the online play has maps that are huge, and the scenery is more interactive as players can blow holes in buildings and smash through wooden doors.Various weapons can also be chosen throughout online play and can be bought for exp points each time you rank up.
On the downside, it takes far too long to die in online play (2 sniper shots) and game types are limited to just blowing up gold crates. ...

...excited for the release of Battlefield: Bad Company. My brother bought the limited gold edition and he immediately set to work online working towards the small goals in the game. The new demo for this game has recently become available to download on the xbox live marketplace and it is amazing.
The game includes a single player campaign along with a superb online multi player mode. The single player mode is very action packed and exciting, but where this game scores the points is in the online play in which the maps are enormous with large teams battling it out.

The singleplayer campaign is hilarious. Well I found it like that. Basically in a nutshell Bad Company is a company for the rejects of the army and the retarded. You're placed in a company you aren't actually that retarded it's your team that are...not the sergeant though. battlefield bad company lets you play as renagede soldiers who should either be in jail or on the front line therefore you get to risk it all to get the gold crates. The single player is a good experience with decent story and humorous dialogue. The gameplay is great with a large varity of guns and turrets to use.
