In the past I have purchased contact lens solution that comes with a lens case, however, I realised that I was probably paying more for this privilege and then I started to look in to buying the solution just on its own and then I ended up needing a lens case after my last one become leaky. I prefer screw top cases anyway for my lenses so this seemed like the ideal purchase. When I wore monthly contact lenses I had lots of these cases around the house and in various different handbags. There was nothing worse than needing to take out your lenses after a long day and not having a case to put them in meaning you either had to throw them away, not a great option if they were a new pair, or you had to keep them in with your eyes getting increasingly drier and sorer. Disadvantages Can be fiddly to access lenses, not a hygenic way to store lenses.
Lens cases are ideal for those with weekly or monthly disposable contact lenses, but I am now a wearer of daily disposables and glasses. I find dailies to be much more hygenic, but the main reason for my use of them is that I don't wear them often. I have used weekly and monthly lenses in the past and my use of the Bausch and Lomb Screw Top Lens Case was during this period of time. The Bausch and Lomb cases are quite slimline and more compact than the barrel style cases I have used in the past, but there are always positive and negative points with all products.
