Advantages Advantages Easy to put in, not too expensive, comfortable, no cleaning requ'd..

Disadvantages Disadvantages Difficult to separate packaging

Having been persuaded to switch to daily replacement lenses about 2 years ago by D&A, I was initially given Johnson Acuvue. I won't go on about them as I have written a review of them on the Johnsons Acuvue section. I asked for a different type of daily disposable lense as my eyes were drying up within 6-8 hours and was promptly prescribed Bausch & Lomb. And.....(drumroll)......... they're great, at last for me they are. 1. Comfort Comfort, in my opinion, is the most important aspect of a lense. These lenses are slightly thicker than the acuvue but no thicker than monthly replacement lenses ... more

Advantages Advantages Comfortable, easy to use. Great in every way!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be quite expensive.

I have been wearing these contact lenses for about two years now and they are brilliant in every way. They are so easy to put in and take out! Even when you come home after a long night out and your eyes are closing with tiredness. They are so quick and easy to remove. Because they are daily lenses, you don’t have to worry about finding a case to put them in and cleaning them. It’s great, you can just take them out and put them in the bin and not have to worry about them! You may say glasses would be even easier, but vision with contact lenses is so much better. It gives you full ... more

**PLEASE NOTE THIS OPINION HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RE-WRITTEN AS OF 16/09/2001** ----------------------------------- Praise be who ever invented contact lenses!! And additional praise to the relatively recent (last 3 or 4 years) invention of the daily disposable lens! I'm short-sighted and find glasses uncomfortable and impractical ( just think of a rainy day!) and started off using monthly disposable lenses with cleaning solutions. I thought they were wonderful from the very beginning - perfect all round vision, comfortable and none of the dsadvantages of glasses. Of course, there was the routine ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I currently pay by direct debit of £15 a month for 30 every 2 months from Dolland & Aitchison for these contact lenses. I will probably cancel the direct debit soon and start buying across the web, because there are better deals about. As for these contacts I find them very comfortable to wear and never relise that they are in, unless I had them in for over 10 hours. Usually I will just put in fresh pair. These contacts a generally cheaper than a lot of the others and maybe slightly thinner, but I think this adds to the comfort factor. Another oddity is the fact that they are tinted slightly ... more
