An efficient boiler which provides heating and hot...

Only one hot water tap can be supplied at any one ...

The original kitchen in our house was designed by a sadist. It was three metres square, with three doors and a large window on the only wall without a door. For more than twenty years I had floated various ideas to turn it into a reasonable kitchen, but they always ran aground on the rocks of...

“Baxi Bahama Baloney”

published 20/02/2003

Copes well with high pressure feed

Can't cope at all with dirty water

We've had our Baxi Bahama for almost 3 years. It supplies 6-7 radiators with ease and due to our very high pressure water, can supply our thermostatic shower during a washing machine fill without much compromise. Our gas bill with this machine dropped by 33% when we ditched our old cast iron hulk...

I have my new Baxi Boiler now and I have had it since 12th February 2012. before that I had had my old one for over 20 years and I was having a lot of problems with it because it wasn’t working at heating all my radiators up properly and it was banging and kettling and the boiler man said...

I had a Baxi boiler installed in summer 2005, I now sit with it broken for the 2nd time in 2 years!!! The first time it was only 13mths old...3 mths after the 1 year warenty ran out of course, I shall be writing a very crappy letter to them in the morning as I suffer my 2nd morning without being able to wash!!!!! The plumber that came to fix said it is a curcuit board and that Baxi's are second rate appliences!

We have had a Baxi Bermuda Combi Boiler for 8 years and it has proved to be one of the one unreliable disasters I've ever bought. Breaks down on average three times a year and every part in it has been replaced at least once. Common problems are intermittent hot water followed by no hot water at all. The contractors who I buy breakdown cover from are making a massive loss out of me. If I could afford it I would replace it now!

THE WORST BOILER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH BOILER - NEARLY EVERY PART HAS BEEN REPLACED - BAXI DON'T CARE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A HURRY TO FIX PROBLEMS. HAVE 2 YOUNG CHILDREN WHO SUFFER FROM ASTHMA AND CHEST INFECTIONS - BAXI COULDN'T CARE LESS. AM NOW HAVING TO REPLACE BOILER AS ANY TIME YOU NEED IT IT JUST BREAKS DOWN AND REFUSE TO SPEND ANY MORE MONEY ON IT. ANY BOILER HAS TO BE BETTER THAN A BAXI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND HOPEFULLY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL BE JUST THAT A SERVICE TO HELP CUSTOMERS AND CARE THAT THERE PRODUCTS AFE DEFECTIVE.

A crap boiler! We have had our boiler replaced twice and it is still going wrong every year, without fail. British Gas do not recommend Baxi at all. I think Baxi should be withdrawn altogether.

“Baxi 105e”

published 08/02/2009

Comes in white

Unreliable and expensive to maintain

Do not buy the Baxi Potterton 105e - trust me, ive got one and im about to rip it out. All Baxi 105e's should be taken to your nearest neighbour with an untaxed car ... that way DVLC will take it away and crush it for free. It is a very unreliable boiler. Plumbers recommend it because its easy...

Not for me

Easy to use, quiet, powerful

Breaks down too often

We were pleased with our Baxi boiler at first. It supplied rads for a four-bed house and lots of instant hot water. Then after 10 months it kept switching off and asking to be reset. Luckily we were still within our 12 month warranty. Baxi's Heat Team plumber had the part in his hand before he...

Baxi's reputation but see disadvantages!

Broke down after 14 months

Yes, I'm angry but I'm going to keep to the facts. I bought a Baxi combination boiler thinking that Baxi was a good make and based on their reputation. It had a one year guarantee: it broke down after 14 months. I used a CORGI registered engineer to repair the boiler but Baxi are offering me no...

“Don't buy a Baxi boiler”

published 29/03/2011

Learnt never to buy a Baxi

Breaks down. Poor quality. Expensive to fix

I bought a Baxi condensing boiler, not a combination, 3 years ago. It it now leaking and cutsout due to the leak in the electrics at least once a day. The independent engineer says this seems to be a design fault with Baxis as he has seen it before. Baxi's excuse for this was that this level of...

It looks nice

It never works... Never!

I live in a council house which has a Baxi Combi 105e fitted, and if it weren't a council house I'd replace it myself! It is awful! In the 5 years I've lived in the house it has had 4 diaphrams, 3 diverter valves and been rebuilt 6 times! The main problem with it is loosing pressure. One day it...

“Baxi is the worst nightmare”

published 23/09/2013

worst customer service ever

Baxi is a very very bad company. Its customer service is the worst I have ever met. Phoned them thousand of times, cost 3 pence per minute. You can spend 30 minutes to one hour on hold . You can wait for three weeks without heating or hot showers . None of them one cares. They keep canceling your...
