What is Bazuka?
* * * * * * * * * * * *
I have heard the familiar phrase many a time, Bazuka that verruca on TV adverts. Bazuka gel is used to treat verrucas, warts and can also be used on corns and calluses. Because this catchy phrase sprung to mind, I decided to try Bazuka, I chose the extra strength gel. After soaking the foot for 2-3 minutes in warm water (or hand), dry and apply the gel. One to two drops ... ...advised not to get the Bazuka on healthy skin as it may cause inflammation, that is why only a small amount is required. It did sting me a little bit when it got onto my healthy skin by my toes. I was not concerned though as it did not last long. It caused the skin to peel a little bit, but no long term damage. It is not to be used on anything other than verrucas, corns and warts. People with diabetes or poor circulation are not to use it. Never ...

I was flabberghasted as to the cost of this teeny tiny little tube ~ £5.99 for 5g of the stuff but the normal strength one is only £5.29!

In short, it is very easy to use. You soak your wart in warm water for 2-3 minutes, dry the area and apply one or two drops to the wart. It suggests that you allow it to dry for a few minutes but you are looking at up to 5 minutes and more for it to dry completely.
The gel is water-resistant so there's no need to cover it with a plaster.

WHAT ARE WARTS AND VERRUCAS
Warts and verrucas are small excessive growths of skin caused by a particular virus. The virus is highly infectious and they can grow and spread if left untreated. The common wart is recognised by the rough "cauliflower-like" appearance on the surface of your fingers. Verrucas only occur on the sole of the foot and are usually in the form ... ...next week for some more Bazuka Extra Strength Gel and hopefully will have a slightly higher success rate next time. Advantages: Effective and very easy to use Disadvantages: Slow process
Bazuka Gel is very useful I think to clear up warts, verrucas, corns or calluses. The name verruca is actually a word for a wart on the sole of the foot.
My experience of Bazuka gel is for clearing up verrucas.
The tube of Bazuka gel comes in a very handy 5g size and contains the following 2 active ingredients:
1) Salicylic Acid (12%)
2) Lactic Acid (4%)
All these other ingredients are inactive:
Camphor, Proxylin, Ethanol, and Ethyl Acetate.
... ...and we decided to buy Bazuka gel from the chemist on their recommendation. The pharmacist was very helpful by informing us that the gel actually softens the skin growth. This can then be removed by using an emery board or skin scraper. Also needed is a towel. We were also told to just keep these items for only that use, as verrucas are very infectious.
Usage:
Before starting to use the gel for the first time you must read the instructions on how ...

Verucca’s are quite painful and resemble a cauliflower in appearance. Bazuka gel,
Dear parents,
Please treat your child’s verruca and warts. A verruca is a wart, a wart found on the foot. Verruca’s are contagious the best place to catch verruca’s is in the P E or swimming changing area. “Johnny” probably got it cos someone-else’s little darling has one that is not being treated.
A verruca is caused by the papilloma virus, which gets into a cut The way to tell a verucca this area ... ...recommend for treating verrucca’s is Bazuka gel. (No finding a frog in the school pond and rubbing it on the wart is not a way to get rid of the wart nor is rubbing it with a cut potato). Bazooka gel is available in chemists and in our local Tesco . So it should not be too difficult to get.
It is expensive I know about £5.00 or a little over in fact and you only get a tiny tube 5 gr. Unless treated the verruca or wart could stay and be a problem ...
