This book was boring, I remember one time that I was reading this book and I fell asleep reading it and I had totally forgotten what I had read so I had to re-read 3 chapters which I wasn't too happy about. You may think that's the reason I didn't have much of an interest in this book, but to be quite honest I don't think this is the right book for me, it's more of an adventure/thriller ... ...never find out what this BEAST is until the very end, you laugh at yourself for making so many different and weird combinations of monster, I bet you a child will have a different combination every day until he/she finds out what it is.
I do recommend this book, and stop acting so surprised, but I more than likely recommend it to about 9 year olds, I think that this book would have suited me better when I was 9 but then again I cannot go back in ...
