Beijing 2008 on the XBOX 360 has some goods and bads. I bought it just after the Olympic games as I really enjoyed watching it. On the game you can do free play, training, arcade modes and the Olympic games itself which is great as you get loads of variety. Excellent online multiplayer game, excellent graphics, a great selection of events so you never get bored, the only downfall i found for this game is when you do play online multiplayer sometimes it takes a while to find an opponent, and sometimes you get the odd occasional lag, i mainly found this happens on the 100 metre race. Finally, an olympic game that actually touches the base of the event as a whole... From the track and field to the floor exercises, this game is on point... I was curious as to how the would implement uneven bars and rings but guess what?? They did a marvelous job... The events give you the option to button mash or old school it like Summer games with the wiggle of the analog... The spinning of the analog for hammer throw and shot put are perfect... ...
...to but once you get it down, its worth the effort... Judo has potential and I still don't understand it much but then again, if they would of throw Tae Kwon Do in the game with the Judo style, we would have had a contender against Karate Champ but it still plays good...
