All up the BEKO gives you 14.2 cu.ft of storage, quite a lot more than our previous one.
It has some nifty gadgets too, a 2.2 litre capacity water dispenser in the door so that you have chilled water on tap, great for making squash on a summers day. Use of the water dispenser is simplicity itself, to get a drink all you have to do is place your glass in the dispensing compartment and push the lever with your glass. Filling is easy too, ... ...feet so that your new BEKO stands up nice and straight. Remove the plug from its protective niche in the back, plug it in replace the grill at the front and you are ready to rock or should that be ice.
Fitting was where we had our only problem. Our fault really, we just didn't realise just how much wider it was than our other one. So yes you guessed it, our brand spanking new BEKO wouldn't fit in the available space so we had to turn it sideways, ...

Advantages: Versatile, Cheap, Solidly built Disadvantages: Freezer shorage not adjustable
...around we opted for the Beko CA5411FFW which fitted all the criteria, it is 152 cm high so didn't obscure all of the window, its 54cm wide so fitted in the gap and was reasonably priced at £260 (plus delivery which was an extra £15 which also wasn't bad as we had the washing machine delivered at the same time).
Once it had arrived the first job was to reverse the doors as we needed them to hinge on the left hand side whereas the default is for them ... ...manual were straight forward and indeed it wasn't too much of a problem once equipped with the right tools (a flat head and crosshead screwdriver and a socket set) but did require the fridge freezer to be propped against the wall at about 45 degrees to access the blots holding on the bottom door. In all I think it took about an hour.
Once this was done the fridge had to left to 'settle' for a few hours, after which it could be turned on for its ...

Advantages: Price, Storage, Water Dispenser, Fast freezing, Modern, Stylish, Safe, Free Ice tray is a nice touch. Disadvantages: Cant store 6 pint bottles?!! (Hardly a major disadvantage!)

Advantages: water dispenser & ice maker are a godsend in summer Disadvantages: door won't close with 2 litre pop bottles in rack
I really wanted a "posh" fridge freezer with a water or ice dispenser, it had to be silver and it had to have plenty of freezer capacity but it also had to be reasonably cheap. I have to say, this one really ticked all the boxes. I'm really happy with it. It's lovely having chilled water on tap in the summer. Although it takes a while to get the hang of filling it up without spilling water all over the floor. Having this means my 5 year old can help ... ...turn the tap on for her.
The ice cube maker is great too - fill up the trays, it freezes them really quickly in the fast freeze section, you then just twist the handles and it dispenses the ice cubes into the holding tray instead of having to try and prize them out with a knife. I don't use the bottle rack too much because it won't fit 2L pop bottles into it if you want to actually close the door.
Make sure you note this is a 70cm, not the standard ...
